ok were do i find out how much crap sells for cuz i got on this webpage(i would type the url but it censors it) and it shows prices of stuff on franz but it doesnt specify as in if thats how much each of them cost or like a stack of 20 of them cost or somethin cuz im tryin not to sell stuff to the shop in town cuz you get more adena sellin em in a private shop
that question might sound like really noob but ya i havent played retail in a long time and when i did i never really set up private shops that much
try the /findprivatestore option to search stores for the items you want to sell. /findprivatestores looks in the title of shops and will change any green if you have a match.
/findprivatestore cbp will light any stores up with cbp in the title..
Once you find some you can get a good grip on normal prices.
There is also an icon you can use in your menus instead of having to type it out.
the price of items is usually determined by demand of that item for use in craft. materials prices above level 2 can be 10x what the NPC shop would give you but NOWHERE does it accurately list the prices of ANYTHING because no two shops carry the same price.
example; i COULD sell a staff of evil spirits for 4 adena. that doesnt reflect the true price of the staff, but thats MY price. similarly someone could come along and sell the same staff for 2 adena.
trying to keep track of prices requires time and patience. if you dont have that, set your prices to 1000 adena per mat.

so basically since i gotta admit im not a very patience person if i had 147 thread would i sell it for 1000 adena or 1000 adena per 1 thread(as in 147 thousand adena)
Untill you know more DONT set up a package sale shop.The rest of the shops are per item.Go around town (Giran is a must) and see what ppl sell/buy in their shops.
