Compressed Shots A? Could this happen?

Player Questions Started Last reply 17 posts
A friend of mine, told me that in the prive server that he plays, he can compress soulshots A in packages of 300 shots per package. With this way, he reduses the weight of the shots. All these happens with the help of Giran's Blacksmith.
Can we do the same? If yes, how? Giran's Blacksmith has no option about compressed shots!!!
Find a dwarf with the recipe registered.

Greater/regular compression either or are avaliable.
Honestly I never heard of dwarf having registered compressed shots recipes in ages ...

I used to have compressed D and B grade shots, but no one bought those packages when I tried to sell or even cared to craft them, so I deleted them from my craft book and I am selling all the rec's that is for compressed shots to the NPC's
Most people dont register these compressed packaging recipes because they take up slots that can be used for other things, but yes, they do exist.
not this again lol

we dont register them because dorfs dont need compressed shots and noone buys the things
The premise of compressed shots is nice but the implementation is wasteful and expensive. If you have two accounts then make a TH on one of them and get it to level 40. Use that as a mule and as a bonus it can go almost anywhere with silent step. It also works with just one account but dropping and grabbing is riskier.
They should just make the compressed shots recipes common craft instead of dwarven craft (after all you still need a dwarf to get the SS in the first place). Then dwarves would not have to register all those recipes and use up their valuable book space, and people who want the compressed packages could just craft them themselves.

nice one! ^^ +1
I actually like that idea!

...but first they would need to seriously reduce the cost of the recipe.

Why? Don't you like it when it hurts your stack of adena to get the rec?....Welcome to the world of WS's.
I only ever found C grade to be worth it, specialy as how many SS's you need at that lv per hit, and they also weigh 3 compared to 2 in the later on.

Back then on my Tyrant I could only carry 1 hour worth of SS, so they sure got some use at that lv, now at A grade, I carry enought for 4k, due the difference the weapons takes 1 and not 3 and they weight 2 not 3.

Yes, the CSS are really a HUGE problem. They weigh more than the higher grade shots, and the weapons also use more shots per hit. I have a C grade SR with an Emi Bow and a +STR/DEX -CON tattoos. I can only carry shots for about 1.5 buff rounds...
The idea to make compressed reciepes common craft is very nice. But it should be droppable (or come through fishing) and not from clan halls.
Me too!
i would prefer if they kept it dwarven craft only and just gave it to us as a passive skill
and yes the craft cost is way way too high

Oops, typo. I meant, the cost of [Magic Rope].

It simply costs too much adena to buy the rope needed to make the packs. That and only compressing 300 shots (normal) to 1K (Greater) shots? Puh-Leez! Let's change that to 3K and 5K per pack and now were talking something more useful.

..and let's double the shots made per craft as well mmmkay?
