I have been saving all my drops for selling later on. Can anyone tell me what town or village would be the best to get an idea of their value. I also have some recipes for elven mith boots and a Brig shield that I need to figure out. I'm on Hindemith if that makes a difference.
Head to Giran. Its the economic center on all servers. You will see lots of people buying and selling mats, thats should give you an idea of their worth on your server.

Don't hoard on base materials if your server has a good manor. Selling base mats to get some money for C or D grade is a good idea, you can still farm it back (on an alt) once you actually need to craft (B Grade at the earliest on most servers).
hmm i am not 2 happy using multibel toons i feel like putting effort on 1 toon if you know what i am saying you could just buy b grade ive seen multibe doom light for 8kk
Most people have a real hard time leveling/equiping just 1 toon. Dont get me wrong, its doable. But most people have at least 1 dorf thats permananty parked in giran, and some lower levels toons (doesnt have to be a dorf) that they can go seed with for specific mats.
There are othere ways to make adena without having alts (playing the market for example). You really have to know your stuff for it to be really profitable. You could also seed on your main.
From your sig, I see that you are in your low D grade levels. Have you stopped and checked how much B grade is worth? Its not just the armor. Depending on your class the weapon can be crazy expensive (dagger? your in for a shock) + jewlery. My point is, compared to B grade, D grade equipment cost is a joke. You can afford to have low level alts.

you dont have to make a dorf. dorfs are not good at making money, when you average that money that they make over the time it takes to make it. if you make an alt for money make one that can use the old gear from your main.
