I've been reading the boards since starting L2 (1.5 years) but only recently been posting.

Is it me or do we seem to have a healthy intake of new players starting L2 right now? The starter areas are still quiet (no change there) but last night for example on Gustin I was pm'd by a guy who'd only been in L2 for 3 hours (hi NanoThech). ..

anyhow if we are getting more new players it can only be good :)

I wouldn't get your hopes up.... and no, by no means healthy, but here's to hoping! I'd love to see more new players! Tho I no longer play. :(

I generally meet a few new people each week, and I don't go looking. It could be more, but it could be less as well.

all the servers included, we probably get about 1 or 2 new players a day, if we're lucky :p the trick is not to scare them off (like....stray cats...?)

We have added quite a few new clannies in the last few weeks. About half or more of them have never played Lin2 before. They come from other games like WOW or Lin1. :cool:

We seem to have picked up about 4 new people into our academy lately (which is a lot for a clan with about 30 active members). Some of them played back in chronicle 1 (never past 40 though), others are coming from WoW. I'm not sure that its anything NCSoft is doing that's causing it, its more of a lack of other exciting options out in the market right now.

I re-roll quite a bit and have noticed that there are more new folks in the game. It's a good sign.

For the first time in months, I noticed last weekend that we had more or about 1/2 the servers at normal or heavy status. I'm thinking thats a good sign.

Maybe because Interlude is around the corner?
