I have high speed cable, its 10 Mb at its peak(at 4 am when there isnt much traffic). Generally it will run aroun 7-8 Mb. Costs about $50(US Dollar)/Month.
im rocking a 1 meg connection with 16k upload speed
i get 24 gig downloads per month at night and 12 gig downloads per month at day time, if i go over either of those i get limited to a 36k connection (yes lower than 56k modem)

Find out if your internet subscriber is offering any specials. If so then deactivate your account wait a day and then call them up to get the new special. A lot of times they do this for no other reason than they can.
I found out it was a billing error.... :) About a month ago they gave me a 25$ anniversary rebate for service. So i used it, well they denied it for some stupid reason. :eek: So i talked to my local office and she said.... Oops.
But still..... I'm wondering how much others pay for service...
i dunno my internet speed but is most likely HIGH i download by microsoft files at 1,2 MB a second i find stability more inportend then speed

Calling up and threatening to deactivate your account has pretty much the same effect. They throw all those nice things new people get at you to convince you to stay.
