I am gonna sub hawkeye. I was just curious what dye setup i should use both for pvp/pve i want to beable to pve well but pvp even better what do u suggest as a set up ty.

for HE, dyes are gimp. -con +dex if anything. but -con is never a good thing.

i might be wrong... isn't strenght not added to a bow damage? if yes, -str +dex could be an option too...

str is a patk modifier regardless of the weapon. if your going to be using this HE as a pvp and pve class, go +4dex -4 con, if its mainly pve add a +4 str to that too (and plaited leather till your about 70 or so :P)

Why not +2 dex -2 con +3 dex -3 con?

well for people who have to worry about money, its cheaper and not much different to just do +4 -4

You who knows nothing about HE's don't post on this again...why do I have to keep telling you to mind your own business about a class that you have no clue how to play!!

-CON is a must for all PvE fighters!

-CON isn't a ++ for PvP Fighters, ++ CON is a bonus.

The difference lies in the class.. HE are best off with +str - con. but + dex is good too, And with Shyeed and Augments ++ dex mite make you very very strong class (as if they aren't strong enough).

PR could go with +str or + dex, but - CON before they are 61 is not a brilliant idea...low con - low HP... and greatter chance at being stunned.

I've had a lot of SR clanies say that: +dex - str is their best set up. That the -STR doesn't effect them as much cause their dmg lies in their crts and not in their normal hits....which lays true for all archers.

When I played my HE, I did +4 str, and +2 Dex, I wish I added and other +1 STR. and I had a doom light set. so my dex was = that that of a SR.

There is alot more I can say, but it's not needed.

As HE just do +5 STR. and get a ant ring!!

mine is +5str-5con +4dex-4con, works well enough, at 76 4.3k hp or so, with majestic wont be getting stuned as much even with the - con, but that seems to be the dye set up alot of archers use, works well for me

Currently I have +5 Str +4 Dex -9 Con for PvE setup, and +5 PL set (oo so close to +6 heh)

Nothing really beats PL, and most mobs dont live long enough to stun considering they are all a one shot with OOP Prophet in a crit. (1X mobs that is)

on the contrary, it's about the same price to do +2 +3 as to do +4.

and it gets you 5 instead of 4.


for hawkeyes, if you want to tattoo to level, go +5 str, +4 dex.

if you want to tattoo to pvp, +5 dex, no str.

always -con.

+4 DEX -4 CON for the fanatics

+4/5 str -con instead of +dex, str adds quite a bunch of patk instead of the little increase in Critrate.

Im actually doing pretty fine with just +4 str -4 con

For leveling up your sub you can of course do +dex as well till your getting the higher-levels to start off with pvp.

I have +4 STR and +4 DEX with Majestic... works well for PvP and PvE. If a nuker makes a crit you loose anyway doesn't matter if you have only one of the tats.
And if you have no Btb... so... what are we talking about pvp without buffs ^^ :)
