First question: Is the PvP in the game worth the index finger pain of grinding??
What is the PvE raid dungeons like? Is it like WOW, when you kill a boss you always get a very good drop?
Just need more info before I get involved in this painful grind.
This game is exceptional at the higher levels. You are capable of PvP at the beginning too, but you would want to be very careful of the gatehoppers in the beginning cities. Even though they are in no grade armor, they may be level 60+ toons who are board.
Nope, killing a raid boss does not mean automatic drops. Usually yes, but not always.
PvP in this game is a joke. the only things u have to do in pvp are keep pushing your shortcut key with your left hand and keep clicking on your CP pots with your right hand.
PvE dungeons are no where simular to WoW. Minor raid bosses that only require 20ish people to kill drops nothing but ***. Major raid bosses that require 100+ people to kill drops some good ones but drop rate is not 100%. so expect spending hours to kill it for nothing.
also, dungeons are not in an instance in L2. other can jump on your party at anytime.

L2 is a tougher game than WoW, rewards are not guaranteed and you have to be good to excel. However, the long term player base is extraordinarily loyal which shows that the game has a LOT going for it.
There are some people who will complain and whine no matter what, ignore them.
