ok..so i had a L2 day shield scrol on..after about 10 mins a friend happened along and bugged me..he gave me migh 2( which didntproc since the L2 day is ll 3) and shield 3...the shield 3 stuck and only lasted 19mins..then it was gone..and so was my L2 day scroll...why? :confused:
tell him to click the crosshair next to the top of the party list of names. this expands the buffs each player has. he SHOULD have done this and seen a scroll was active. seeing it was a scroll his next bit to type SHOULD have been "what L2day scroll is that?" so he didnt overwrite them.
scrolls have been overwriteable since they came out.

then why cant i get ww2 from my pp to stick if i have a ww scroll up ? i dont have any expirience w/ other scrolls since if im doing anything but running around i jus log my pp
Ya I thought it was the other way around, I remember I couldn't give some buffs because the scrolls were there. The scroll didn't disappear but the buff didn't show up.
exactly my point...ok...i had the scroll on...the (OOP) buffer came by out of the blue"hey you wnat buffs?" me "sure :)" so they buffed me..i know this persons buffs well enough to say that they gave my a beter WW then my scroll...yet the scroll remained..they also gave me a beter shield then the scroll..yet the scroll was lost...thus my question is why does the buff override the scroll...and even then why isint itlike the pots that drop now..where the buff still counts down but doesnt completly disappear when the pot takes over...
That's strange ... I remember those scrolls stayed on bar no matter what buffs you received.
Maybe it's bug? With the new Greater Shield or so, it somewhat collides?
From personal experience frome being a live in party prophet:
Some scrolls, no matter what I buffed then , and even if my buffs were equal to the buff scrolls, they did not want to budge. Even when there was like 1 min left of peoples buffscrolls, mine didint overide them.
However, I do think that once I was buffing someone who just joined the party and after buffs he had 1-2 scrolls less. I just assumed then had expired, but maby my buffs replaced em. Might have over buffed him, we need quite a few specific buffs where we go hunting.

Stop saying things you should know that are not true, buffs from scrolls stay out, unless you OVERbuff them.
becasue i found them cheaper then geting 4 Greater haste pots...so i used them for a litle while..
and why use the pots??
because when u have good buffs you kill fasster..that makes faster Xp...but if u cant move from critter to critter fast enough the buffs are almost useless...so you use the scrolls or pots to move faster thusly increasing one's kills per hour.

Yup, maybe the person you recieved buffs from put 20 buffs on,and your sheild scroll was the 1st one on your list. Its not hard with a prophet, they have like 25 Buffs if you get all the etxras (like resist wind, resist fire, Grt Might & Sheild etc)
a regular buff will not overlap a scroll... scrolls are the max lvl of the buff (haste scroll = haste 2, focus = focus 3, etc)
buff scroll = 1 hour, top lvl buff > 20 minute, top lvl buff
it wont over lap for the same reason might 2 wont overlap might 3 even if there is only 10 seconds left of might 3.... you have to wait the 10 seconds then buff
the only thing i can think of is maybe the buffs that pushed your scroll off were enchanted buffs ?

like i said i dont know... but other than a bug scrolls shouldnt be replaced by any regular buff

my buffs are +6 and i dont remember that my buffs would remove any of the l2day scrolls/potions

i was fighting on the top lvls of Enchanted Valley..anmd the SE that buffed me was around Lv 56-58
becasue i found them cheaper then geting 4 Greater haste pots...
Why 4?
i did buy more then four but a uff scroll lasts 59 mins..so four pots at 19mins a piece =76 mins of play...59 of which are with the scrolls...then i throw on another set and keep going with the left over pot time until i hit another one...they dont quite equal out(as far as i can do in my head) so usualy i just have a little bit of a Greater Haste Pot left when i SOE, just means i can run around town faster ^^
60 and 20, actually (it's just the game shows 19:59 as "19"). And if you hunt in places where herbs of speed drop, you may have even more than 60 minutes from your 3 greater haste pots.
very tru..and to be honest (though i know ima get made fun of) i always thaught they just lasted 19 mins...flat out...not 19:59 and saying "19" lol but yea...ok..NEXT QUESTION???
