can any player wear these clan oath armours,,i wanted to put it on my dark elf but say i not meet the requirments???

You have to be a member of an academy. That's the primary requirement. I think you can also wear it if you've graduated from an academy but I'm not sure.

Yeah you can, you can take it on and off all day long if you graduated from one.

I don't understand why they give academy graduates D grade armor, but at level 40 after the second class change (when they graduate). Why not give them low/baseline C grade armor (Karmian/Demon with half the benefits but similar PDef).

O well, at least the academy circlet sells to the trader for 250k.

It was about the only worthwhile thing that came out of graduating from academy. ATM there is little benefit from even being in an academy (most people will have better armor than Clan Oath by the time they graduate, or even before they get it - and i know u can do the quest before :p).

You have to at least start the quest for the armor.

You start th quest at level 19 ... you can use it at 20.

Could you elaborate on this? What armor are you speaking of or referring to? I mean, I'd expect a person to have at least some C-grade parts banked by the time they hit 40 but what's better than clan oath "before you even get it"? I have a pair of Oracles (Shillien and Elven) about to hit 19 and they're not academy'd but I haven't seen anything that beats the clan oath, in an overall sense (i.e. including set bonuses). Well, attainable at least since I've been told not to blow my savings on overpriced set finishers (brig helm, elven mithril whateverthehell, and what not).

I have a brig set laying around, I am selling it, cause Clan Oath is way cheaper (certainly when you want to +6 it) and give stats almost as nice as Brig.

Looks way better then Brigandine anyway, be it robe/light/heavy.

I guess it depends. I leveled in Ivory Tower crater from 38-45 and have personally put many Brigandine Boots, Elven Mithril Boots, and Elven Mithril Gloves in the Clan warehouse. If the clan actually recruits from their Academics, then the Academics they plan to keep will have better gear than Clan Oath. I know I did.

That being said, my roomate just started playing today and I plan to do the quest for him cause he's makign me go broke and I don't like the prices on some of those sets (sold my D grade to buy C grade lol) .
