General Playing Lvl 1-20 Guide

Well I recently decided to keep a dwarf in Gludin to buy some mats, and during this stay, I have seen too many under equipped players. I thought it got easier with newbie buffs and free soulshots/spiritshots and exchanging. I wonder what it would be like now without these extras . So I wondered how could they fix this? Well here are some suggestions for new players to be at a good equipment rate versus your level:

1. Follow the tutorial. At least for a little bit to get the free soulshots/spiritshots

2. Visit the Newbie Guide and check for what you can do and good hunting spots.

3. Keep all your base materials (coal, charcoal, suede, varnish, iron ore, etc.) for now while you are in the starter town. Once you move up to Gludin (around level 12-15), at some point you should make the run to Giran and see ALL buy stores and find the best prices to sell too. Even ask people the general prices so you are not getting scammed. I am not sure but I believe there is a quest you can do to go to Giran(but just make sure you do the quest to get back) from the starter town.

4. Do all the quests in the starting towns. For example, if you are a dwarf you can get all your NG jewelry by a few quests which really helps. In Talking Island you can do a quest to get a sword of solidarity. Definitely check out a fansite or even lineage 2.com in the quests section and find your level range, race and check the rewards, many say the reward is equipment or money or other items. This is a really big thing because this helped very much.

5. Upgrade weapon before armor. This is usually the best to do. But do not fall too far behind on your armor. I suggest upgrading your weapon one level up and then upgrading your armor one level higher. Jewelry is also important but at starter levels, some quests give it you, you can get some by drops especially by keltirs at the very beginning or buy them once you have upgraded your weapons/armor a bit. As long as you have some jewelry at lower levels, it should be fine.

6. Join an Academy of a clan. Some clans even help you with equipment/level if you need help. You can even meet players around your level as well.

7. Use the exchange system. I have only seen one or two people selling No grade items in private shops for lower prices so the using exchange system is the next best thing.

8. Limit of soulshots/spiritshots. If you have used up all your free ones and are in a tight situation on money, just do not use them, the Newbie Buffs should help and a few extra hits to a monster doesn't hurt anybody :) .

Levels versus Equipment:
Lvl 1-5: Should be using the starting items and maybe even upgrading your weapon/armor to the worst thing besides starting items.

Lvl 5-10: There should be a few quests that you can do to get weapons/armor/jewelry. Do those and use these items.

Lvl 10-15: Should be using the 50-70k weapon in the shops for your class and be continuing to upgrade your armor. You might even be having the 100k-130k weapon.

Lvl 15-20: Should be getting the top No Grade items once closer to lvl 20.

At lvl 20, try getting someone to sponsor you in the Academy so you can get the Clan D-grade Armor. This way you have more money to upgrade your items.

Hopefully this helps, I am not that rich to give everyone I see under equipped 100k
