Are you faithfull in your games ? I'm not just talking about in-game, but the games themselves. How faithfull are you to a game ? Do you play more than one game at once ?
Usually, I'm not very faithfull to games. Oh sure, I'll play them for a few months each because I love games, but rarely do I find that spark in a game that makes me want to stick around longer, and to build something with this game.
To L2 I have been more faithfull than to most of my other games, soon the third anniversary, holy cow I've only stayed longer with my ex-wife.
I usually only play one game in a time period, games tend to be jealous towards each other. But now I have to play two games.
My new game is an intermediate risk evaluator. The new game has the same sparks as L2 (open PvP, great economy, fun terrain to explore, mini-games, etc.) so of course I am more interested in this game than any other game...
The idea with games is to keep things fun. One of the funny catch phrases from this new game is : "I'll play."
Whenever I make a proposition the game is interested in, it says : I'll play.
broke out the SNES recently, to play Ogre Tactics: march of the black queen. great game. last week that it was XBOX360 (btw Phantom Crash is NOT compatable with the 360 althoguh MS thinks it is, the 360 runs out of memory in 5 minutes). thinking about giving L2 the old "its not you its me". o and gratz dark ^^

That's a level 1 security translation, but IT would be correct.
I'm not at all faithful. I blame a strong case of "greener grass" syndrome. In addition to L2, Im also currently playing EQ2, Last Chaos, Rappelz, God of War 2 and a host of other console games.

In the MMO dept. I beleive your grass can't be greener than in L2. I'm surrounded by WoW folks but those computer experts still admit I have a better game than them.

I believe differently. There's no 1 game that is perfect in all things, but every game that I play has some aspect about it that makes it (in that aspect) better than all the others that I play.
EQ2 for content and RP, deep lore, and playability.
L2 for graphics and sheer aesthetic beauty.
Last Chaos for fast-paced, exciting combat.
Rappelz for its "build your own class" style of advancement.

Somehow....somewhere...I think some of you have totally missed the point of this thread.
My current, future and to be only game has been here for 3 years as of June. The last game sucked rocks. I abandoned (read fled for my life)that one after sticking with it for too many years.
