I've had a quick search of the forums but I can not find it. I'm fairly sure there was away to get a 10 day free trial code, if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful as a freind at work would like to have a look at the game before investing/paying for it. Or if anyone has a code please PM me it so I may pass it onto him.
My guess is that when Interlude goes live, a bunch of keys will be given to try and attract new players, would make sense at least (even if the new content is mostly for high level players hehe)
all I can say is sorry, but as I login most days I see new Bot Players. Now this shows that dispite what many say NCsoft are removing Bots from the game regulary, but they have very little in place to stop these players making a new account, even though many suggestion have been given to them they do not seem to be implemented. So one can only believe they prefer not to have fresh new people join the game, if they do very little to attract them. When was the last advert you seen for L2?, when did you last see it on the shelves in a computer shop? L2 gets a mention once in a while on a few Morpg sites but that is all. I've even suggested they contact Blockbuster's as an outlet for the game, they could rent out the game/disc to install it and make a killing when there are updates to it,(I'd pop in to my local store and rent it to save downloading it). It would also be on display all the time so others would see it etc and what would it cost NCsoft not a lot as Blockbusters has it's own distribution network. They could even take payment for the game each month or sell the time cards. But it must be a bad idea as I never recieved any feedback from NCsoft about it, only from my local blockbuster store that said yes they would consider it if appraoched as it would be more walkin trade for them on the video side of their business.
So Splatter if you can use your pursuasive power please get me a key, but better still get NCsoft to look at this possible outlet for their game, that will benifit us all and I'll forget about my mate.

You can't stop this from happening without preventing new players also.
