hi Mistryl. i have been playing l2 almost one year, iam a lv30 healer that enjoy to healing friends. i want to become a bishop one day, but i lvling very slow i hardly find a party. friends lvls alot faster. i can only play 1 hr each day after work. and every time i try to lvl red pker always aroung me and killed me. i got tired geting 2 or 3 pk in one hr somtime. i just want ask if there is non pk sever for me to go. thanks.
None of the servers are currently set up as a "non-PvP" or non-PK server. You might try convince your friends to stop by and be your bodyguards for a bit, and other players might have suggestions for better hunting grounds for you. :) Good luck!
There isn't a non PK server.....

But i can understand your frustration... These friends you have, can they not party with you and help you?
Sounds to me like you are leveling in the execution grounds. While that is a great area for a healer to level, it is also easy access for pkers There are several secluded spots there though, if you look around a bit you can find them.
friends are lv60+ now. i dont get much exp whit them anymore. since i can only play almost 1 hr a day. somtime lost exp more than i got
What server are you on now?
Their is no easy answer for this....

Are your friends in a clan...If not, why not start one?
Ok, I'll take the bait.

A couple of suggestions, in no particular order of importance...

1. Find a new hunting spot. PKers usually go where they expect low levels to frolic in numbers. But there are far too many places for low levels to hunt than a PKer can search. Find an isolated spot and level.

2. Make new friends with people that are around your level range.

3. Ask one of your level 60+ friends to watch your back while you hunt. At least have them "on call" to help you out when the red shows his face.

4. Invest in a BSOE, or have one of your 60+ friends give you one. For them it's not that difficult to afford. (Although really not worth it, since you can recoup the XP loss very quickly at D grade.)

5. Get into a good clan. They will assist you with parties and leveling.

6. Let the PKer get his rocks off. Eventually he'll get bored of killing you. I've seen that happen before.

7. This is a PVP game. Get used to dying. It doesn't hurt nearly as much at level 30 as it does at level 70. Get a little more thick-skinned and don't let it bother you so much.

Although really not worth it, since you can recoup the XP loss very quickly at D grade.

lets see you play 1 hr on a healer class and recoup 3 x 7% deaths.

the post was made bacuse he couldnt. i have my doubts that solo, neither could you.
/agree

I would think that his lvl 60+ friends should be willing to drop by for an hour. It sounds like he's on about the same time each day. If they would hang there for that hour the pk'er would prolly look for safer places to be. His friends would most likely not only pick up rec points but this would improve their reputations along with their clans rep. You can bet adena that there will be several other players that will appreciate them being there. He's in a tough spot as he can't really get into parties. He knows that he will only be on for that hour. So he's stuck soloing a lot. That's rough for a healer class. If he's on my server and I can find out what time he's on, I might just drop by with a few of my friends and hang there a bit.
milktea what server is it you're playing on?

I could.

I have no doubts about that.

At level 30, he's not a Bishop, but a cleric. At that level, there are lots of mobs that he can hunt quickly that will gain him back the XP.

I've been a cleric. I've also been an oracle. I've died in each class multiple times (never do raids with noobies) and I've earned back the XP relatively easily. At least much more quickly than it took me to earn the expense of a BSOE.

It can be done, if you have a mind to do it.
Indeed, what server, and do you have a clan? Many are willing to offer help, but need to know where and when.
theres three differences why YOU can do it but the OP CANT.

1: youve got low level friends, you know the areas to hunt in and have the gear to equip yourself.
2: you know the areas to hunt in, and low levels you dont seme to care in particular about much.
3: you know where and what youll be doing at level 40, and have the money to gear yourself up when youre there.

the OP has pretty bad gear, likely, and has been trying to solo ineffectively because he is a novice player. he doenst know most of the ins-outs of the game.

theres a difference between EXP and experience. they dont necessarily co-relate. same as a troll here can KNOW about end game, but not be part of it.

You make a host of assumptions that simply aren't true. I don't have the time to tackle them all. I will say that I did not level my oracle or cleric in top flight equipment. I did not hunt with friends, but solo, with the exception of the occasional raid party.

I've provided clear suggestions as to what the OP can do to remedy his/her predicament. These are the same things that I have done when faced with a foe that I could not personally defeat. It does not take a wealth of adena, or experience, or in-game knowledge, or top flight gear to do these things.

Stop using the word CAN'T.

You are only reinforcing the OP's perception that he/she is in an impossible situation. That is not the case. There is hope. There is a way out. There are many options at D grade as a cleric. Hopefully my post will enable him to explore some of those things.

As for my tone...I stand by it. This is a pvp game and we've all been PK'ed at least once. Some of us, self included, multiple times. But guess what...the sun also rises.
Are those friends in clan? Does the clan have academy? If so, why OP is not in? And I am sure every academy has also lots of alts from people in main clan. Why don't some of them log in and party with OP? That's the best they could offer.

If answer is "no" to everything above, forget your friends, get to monster derby and shout "Future Bishop LF academy to join and help me level" I am sure you get invitation within short while. It's question of pride (and convenience) for many clans to grow newbies and keep them in clan. Specially real healers are always needed.
I am going to side with Sin...

Many of us can and did level (yes even a cleric) under much worse situations than the poster.

Newbie killing is deplorable, and most clans on Hindemith have academy toons doing the 1-40 grind. Find some of those and with certain tags surrounding you you will rarely be PKd. You might even find yourself asked to join an academy and given your D grade armor set as well as scoring a clan tag which will ward most reds away. Clan points are valuable, and non-boxed healers are even more so. If you follow Crawlerin's advice and hit the derby, you may find yourself quite valued.

If you get PK'd once... make the effort to go someplace else.
Yes, I know clerics are powerful against undead... but there are other places with undead.

Try the wastelands... I bet you find plenty of undead and very VERY few people of any sort.

No, its not as ideal as EG when there are no reds, but it is significantly better than EG when the reds are out.

Don't give up... the game is hard at times.... but given the time and effort it is worth it.
I would re-inforce the friends / clan idea too. I know when one of ours or a friend of ours calls out, we have a few high levels that would love to go out and find the red.
If you must solo, then friend lists work wonders.
Just because you only do an hour here or there, don't let that detur you from seeking out a clan. There are clans out there that as long as you play and work on your toon, you are welcome. These may not be those clans with seiges on their minds, but there are a lot of laid back clans on the servers too.
One idea is to find mobs that are not aggro, or at least mostly not aggro. I seem to recall there are some parts of Cruma Swamps where most of the mobs aren't too aggro. You do have to "tip-toe" around the areas where the aggros are. If you are on Seigehardt, send me a PM on this website, and we can talk.
Basiclly there are no non-pvp/pk servers, but some servers have a higher amount of PKers that others. :)
