i never got to try this out, but does hate aura work in pvp?? i noticed aggression (single target) worked in PVP dueling, but i never actually tried it out in Open pvp, also what about confusion does that work to?
Yay I got nerfed once again. Thanks NC that is all that I expected from you after the non stop nerfing since you created the dwarfs.
1 new siege summon...who the hell is gonna use it when it's faster for a nuker/archer party to bring down the door and kill everyone?
Oh and if the summon is pointing at the wrong direction and I accidentally kill my fellow attackers as they approach the siege area I will have a parma red WS...again a big thanks to NC

lol yes, I wondered about that, too - what if you accidentally fire into the pile of no grade/D grade newbies sitting and watching just outside the siege zone :)

You go red. Very, very, very deep red. :)
That golem is fun to play with, but **** expensive, and we'll need to readjust our tactics to be able to use it efficiently. Could take a few tries.
Nukers already bring down the castle door in about 15 seconds. I don't know why we need new seige cannons... on the other hand, it would be cool if Maestros could repair the front doors or bolster them somehow.

I like the idea...why does WS/Maestros only have offensive siege skills and none defensive?

The new summon's attack doesn't damage castle doors or walls, actually. It's an AP artillery piece.
EDIT: also I'm looking forward to trying out the new item augmentation / refinement system.
Pssst! It's just another money sink! (And a very poorly designed one to boot...think TOI quest levels of success %.)
I did some testing on the PTS, and all I can say is I will be *selling* all the life stones I get.
You must have been testing with low grade and level stones. Because augmentations are hardly a money sink.
Hardly a money sink?
There are ~16K possible results, of which you get 1-4 per attempt. (If the data from wh is complete. And testing by myself and others doesn't disagree so far.) Of these roughly 9/10 are the very common +hp/mp/cp or +regen mods that give pitiful bonuses. (50 HP is something like 1 hit from a L40 mob. And a low damage hit at that on a class that wears and has Heavy armor masteries.)
Knowing this it will take many multiple tries to get a 'good' mod. And since augmenting 'soul binds' the weapon to you and you cannot re-augment without paying the fee to remove a previous augment your going to be spending a minimum of ~250K per attempt. (Gemstones to add it and the removal fee.) This means every 4th try is 1 Million adena removed at the least! Now four tries is a very small number of attempts for the *lowest* level of weapon you can augment. The cost rises as your weapon grade does.
BUT WAIT! I seriously doubt that you will be using the C grade weapon you start with all the way through to level 80. Thus it's far more likely that you will be augmenting multiples times for each weapon you have for each grade! Even a nuker who starts with a +'d Homunkulus will eventually want to swap weapons to something like a SoM when he can. (Melee chars get the shaft here, being almost a requirement to upgrade weapons each grade.)
No, this IS a money sink. An SA on a weapon may have a higher 'up-front' cost, but it is 100% guarunteed to give you the results you want out of the three possible SA's. With the cost of augmenting however you need to multiply by the number of attempts...and it's going to take a LOT of attempts to get something 'useful' on a augment. And worse a SA'd weapon can be sold or traded when it is no longer useful to you, but an augmented weapon cannot! You can't even give it to your alt chars either.
At most it is an Optional money sink. No one is going to force you to augment and re-augment your weapon. You choose to do so, your choice to spend the money or not.
I think the not being able to trade between chacters on your account is a problem. I understand NcSoft not wanting to see something start another hugh Economic surge here. Only those that get secondary funds can get it. This is allowing all to obtain something and just by hunting as well. But to need a weapon for all toons if I want to add a feature is a pain as well, the ever catch 22.

You have the freight system you know...that allows you to trade between your own toons that are on the same account (and server) for a fee of 1k adena per icon you place in the freight (stackable items counts as 1 not matter how many there are)
Oh and in C5 they changed it so you don't have to pick it up in the same WH as you sent them from any more.
OMG if that is true about the WH then that would be sweet...I'm so tired of banging my head against the wall trying to remember which WH I placed things in.

The new siege cannon is more anti-personnel. I don't know if it would even WORK on the door, but it'll help against the stacked archer group on the walls.
Oh, and you can buff the doors :P
the new siege weapons arent for taking out castle, as was said. but for killing ppl camping / defending castles. but at sieges i seldom see any type of real strategy, just a clump of ppl standing around in 1 spot trying to get everyone to sh ut up so they can break down the door.
