quest weapons for Newbs

Hi all

How does a newb get the Apprentice Adventurer (NG) weapons and Travellers (D) weapons?

I have a friend who refuses charity so I'd like to point her to these quests to help her

For every race there is a quest at lvl 12 where you can get a Mid NG weapon. The one on Talking Island is where you have to kill the Spirit of Mirror quest monsters.

Don't recall the NPC to talk to, but just run around in town, you will get to it.

Those were event weapons when C5 went live. Interlude goes live in about 2 weeks and Im sure they will have something to celebrate that too. Otherwise your friend will just have to swallow her pride and accept your bit of charity or do things the hard way by toughing it out.
