NcSoft states that there is a 10% chance of landing silence when bad magic is used. What I would like to know is whether or not 'Entangle' counts as 'bad' magic. Thanks for the help.
can you pick a fight with entangle? i dont think you can. if you can however, then it counts for bad magic.
elves arent good with bad magic actually. most of the qualifying bad magic is like nukes or debuffs. the TK as far as i remember doesnt have a lot in that department, let alone something that can start a fight.
it counts as bad magic however the SA isn't a land at 10% rate. Its a cast at 10% rate and therefore even at the 10% that it casts it still has the chance to be resisted by ur oppenent. I don't know what stats it takes into effect for that specific resist tho.

silence is a mental debuff, so with mental shield, or high men value, it wont land at all.
