I have quick question regarding Enchant. I am still new to this game and came from WOW. In WOW, you can only enchant one, but was wondering if L2 allows us to enchant weapon or armor more than once...if yes, how many enchants can one weapon or armor stack?
Another question, is there any easy way to search private store? It is hard to check each individual store.
Enchanting weapons is safe to +3. After +3, you risk an approximately 1 in 3 chance of crystalization (breaking the weapon), resulting in about half the crystal value of the weapon plus an additional alotment for the scroll(s).
To find an item in store, the written command is...
/findprivatestore "X"
Where "X" is the item that you are searching. (There is also a shortcut icon for this under your actions tab.)
However, this search function will only reveal a match as listed in the individual shops title. Ultimately you will find yourself searching each shop to view all of the items that a character is selling/buying, because not every person lists the items in their title. In most cases the character limitation prevents buyers and sellers from listing all of the items. (Yes, they need to improve the search shop feature.)
By the way, I'm not sure what is the highest number of enchants an item can have. The most that I've seen personally was +19, but I've heard rumors upon rumors that someone has succesfully enchanted a weapon to +25. Again, I have no proof to substantiate that claim.

Do not enchant above + 3 unless you can:
A, accept it blowing up, and...
B, get another weapon relatively quickly.
The sale of the crystals you get from the weapon imploding, will not cover the total cost of a new weapon.
