Heyy..I use a dwarf to solo low 20 raidbosses, to help level friends alts ect, although I havn't done it in a while I wonder if the +6 clan oath would be more efficient, and worthwhile? I'd come across a b-ead which I'd use to blown the +5 but..when I come across more B-ead should I try again for +6? And on the other threads I heard % on armor enchanting is different then weapons? If so what is the chance of breaking it?
I went through about 180 M adena attempting to OE DC hvy to +6. That's the best feel for it that I can give you. I had 4 sets of DC hvy up to +5 and never had a single part make it up. (exception helmet)
I had 2 sets of +6 Doom (no helmet) blasted 14 Helms and gave up... getting the rest of the set +6 were mostly 1st trys
also made +4 NM heavy Full set and +6 NM light boots 1st try
have +4/+5/+5 PL set im working on now
its the same chance as weapons right around 1/3 but really its all luck... some people make a +16 weapon jus seeing how many enchants they can do b4 it breaks, others can try 10 times and never even get +6
but to you question... b-enchant are normally higher price than replacing a armor piece after crystal yeild so it doesnt make blessed very cost efficient unless you are (a)Hero (b) good friends w/ a Hero
and lastly i thnk you would be better off w/ a twinked weapon than armor for wat your tryin to do
Not using prophecy, Only got 47 SE buffs..and I wouldnt consider it soloing..I got my dualbox who heals me ( I d-lvl her aswell) and then a recharger..and have soloed up to elf renoa..and on my server, EAD go for about 50k. If you do it right you can get up to 45 EAD a kill. And to clarify something..Heros buy the b-ead right? How much? o.o
And yeah..brig would be the better choice except when I first made this I didn't have an extra 4m to buy helm/boots/gloves when I could get all clan oath for 600k worth of crystals..and I use blessed so that if it breaks I won't gotta do that quest again xD
