i am lv 34 now and i wanna make some money with quests
i saw some1 say coin quest is it the best quest? (need 2 be lv 40 2 do the quest i believe)

anyother quest? or something i should know how 2 affort c grade?
I think I did the one where you kill the things in partisan's hideaway. you might be a little low for the coin quest. but everyone loves coins. stratics has a great list of quests.
yeah i looked @ stratics

partisians is a bit low right?
You're at the high end of the lvl you should be for Partisan's Hideaway and the quest there. But, there is another Black Lion quest through the mercenary in Dion that's for mobs in Execution Ground. That's pretty good for your level. If you just want fast XPing though, I'd try the Brekka Orcs just north of Giran. You might also try the first ring or two of Garden of Eva, there's a quest for stakato claws or something that you get in Heine.
quests are not BIG money making devices.

with some training, you can easily make 30m before level 40 and do nothing but grind.
alright i chose questing because i felt i didnt have a chose :<

1:crafting weap ,i cant get the mats
2:manoring ,i guess i could but i wanna switch 2 bow plus its a pain 2 sell the crops you got i got 1000 crops with reward 1 a.bone thats basicly a mill right there right? but other rewards are crap? or?
3: i dunno what 3 is >_>

so if you could teach me somethings would be great :) and much appriciated
make a disposable toon.

if you want top gear, youll need to skip a toon. first make either a dwarf or an orc. i chopse the orc because its more fun and less bot-like.

manor red coda first. take about 2800-3200 seeds (all you need) and from lvl 13, hunt only in the orc territories AND ONLY ON WHITE MOBS.

take chilly coda for the lvl 11-12 mobs about 200 at a time (hard to hand in on time for type 2 reward tho - so when 200 are done, hand in immediately and beat the bots) and after levelling all the way to 20, the shuttgart manor alone will have provided you with over 4 million adena worth of varnish and oriharukon ore.

leave overnight in giran with medium prices and strap the cash on your archer. 4 million will mean new LXB, or will be a means of taking your current LXB and getting mid-C grade bow.
two quests you could try for your level:

hatchling quest - level 35: (starts with the pet manager in giran). i dont know about your server but the winds which are most common have been selling for about 750k each on mine.

wish pot quest - level 30(?): (starts with npc Matild. she has a house west of the ivory tower across the river. if you teleport to the sea of spores you can run all the way to her from that location without crossing paths with any mobs). this quest has the chance of giving you some pretty great items as rewards. personally i prefer to sell the wish pots to the great people of aden. current sell prices for my server are 600-800k each.

both of those quests will require some running around on your part, but the mobs should be decent xp for your level, they're fairly straightforward and easy quests, and the rewards as you can see are tough ones to beat. :)
Coin quest is a good $ maker over a long period of time if you sell the coins you get but you wont make a fortune on it very quickly since the coin drops are kinda rare... its still a great quest to do cause its some extra income although you will prolly need someone to help you kill the lizzard to start the quest
@ 47 you can get a partner to dup w/ you and do Pavel Ruins... there is a male and female dwarf right at the Pavel ruins port spot the male gives a quest to collect "Destroyed Golem Shards" you fight the golems and collect 500 shards drop is about 1/3 then you get a random B-grade weapon recipe 60%
no matter what rec you get you can get some cash for it and if you get lucky and get 1 of the rare recs you can make alot + the golems are pretty good xp and you can do it till about lvl 55 and the quest is repeatable
well so basicly spudnik you wanna make new toon and manor
i dont really feel 2 make alts :< i know basicly EVERY1 does it but i feel like putting effort in just 1 toon is just dunno i wanna put all my effort (and exp)in 1 toon cause if i would make 5 toons lv 30 for example i could be lv 60 with 1 char :/

so basicly i should just manor then yeah?
The 'Black Swan' (lvl 32+)quest in Heine is very profitable, and you can keep killing the mobs pretty much until lvl 40. The mobs there don't have good drops in general, but if you take this quest AND manor, you can reap insane amounts of materials from them, and the quest also has adena reward.

Check it here: http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/quests/index.php?id=15020
cheers gonna check that 1 out :)
o.0 ooohkay...i thought my suggestions were great ones but w/e.
haha aaahw :) i dont like the hatcling q i did that before and i hate it :P

but the other q with pots look great 2 how many pots do you get per hour ? or rather how many profits per hour?
you can't make a lot of wish potions fast.
that quest involves killing 8 types of mobs spread all over the map (a lot of running/porting)
takes me 45 minutes from start to finish
how many pots do you got then? and how much did you make?

minus the SS and TP how much is left?

There used to be a couple of enterprising fellows who sold the wish pots themselves for about 150K each. Of course that was a few Chronicles ago, and I don't know if that would be profitable now.

My problem with the wish potion quest is that I almost always got the Grimas or the other mobs. The time and teleportation involved just wasn't worth the 4 gold bars that I got from killing those Grimas. That's when I was finally high enough level to solo them. Maybe they've changed the wish potion odds since last I did the quest in favor of better "Good" wishes?

Let's see...at level 34 on most of my toons, I hunted in Partisans, EG, and Heine. There are quests for all of these areas. No, these aren't going to make you rich over night, but since you will be leveling anyway....
when should i be making money then ? is it @ lv.40 or 61 ?

when should i be making money then ? is it @ lv.40 or 61 ?

I can't answer that. No one can. The fact is there are lots of people in this game who never earn beyond basic sustenance. I call it grinding with your head in the dirt.

The people that I know who made their money did so by hoarding mats at low prices and selling high; by procuring and selling key mats & recipes for weapons and armor; by being lucky in the overenchant business; by repeatedly farming quests like the wish potion, coin collector (and Kali spin-off), and soul crystals (especially before they were sold in the Luxury shop);by taking the time to painstakingly craft highly demanded items and selling them at a premium; and, by taking full advantage of Events.

There are any number of ways to make adena. Just don't expect that you'll necessarily make it just by virtue of being "X" level. Make a plan, consider your choices wisely, and go for it.

And finally, please don't lightly discard the advice that some are giving you in this forum. I read another post many moons ago from someone who wanted to make lots of loot. Everyone replied with good advice, including limiting overhead (e.g., don't use a bow and arrows at C grade; use a dagger because it saves adena). Surely enough, that person ignored the conventional wisdom and was last seen begging in Giran for financial assistance. Not cool.

when should i be making money then ? is it @ lv.40 or 61 ?

You should start *trying* to earn money at like level 1.

However, there is no guarantee that you will ever actually be able to do so.

I'm in my 60s and pretty much penniless for my level, and really don't have much luck with making money either.

A lot of it does come down to pure, dumb luck and timing.
I have some more seeds if you want to duo, Kyrael. <wink>

I'd say at your level, grouping in catacombs might be most profitable.

A lot of it does come down to pure, dumb luck and timing.

I totally agree with this.

If not for a decent run of luck with overenchants, I'd be penniless, too. I certainly wouldn't make much adena if my income depeneded on lucky drops. I almost never get those. :(
hmm so things i have heard are

the only solid income i have seen is manoring
that goes out of the window cause i use a bow (BS mammon swithc dagger?)

and when i exp i do it with those quest that you also need 2 kill the same mobs

but oe is not for me you screw up 2 weap your broke and youre stuck

but i am also thinking about going catas just do the blank scroll things with AA ,but i think thats less profitable then manoring yeah?
If you plan to go the enchant business, I sugest making EWDs as they sell well and give some good profit.

Dunno if it is less profitable than manoring since I never got the hang of it on Erica. But you can earn some good money. The problem is you need to sell lots and lots of it.

The best way to get all those EWDs is to make a buy shop near the priest of the side that usually wins on your server (It is usually Dawn on most servers) and buy blank scrolls, ancient adena and seal stones. Do it either on Dion or Giran.

Then when the seal period begins turn all of them into EWDs and sell it on Dion. Depending on how cheap you bought the blank scrolls and ancient adena you can have a profit of 350k per EWD.

Also, sometimes it sells fast, sometimes it doesn't. So don't worry much if it takes some time to sell. Most of the time people will buy all the ones you have on your shop. They usually sell when most people on your server start to play. Like 8 PM or so.

Hope that helps.
yeah ewd sells g0000d :) and its big money for sure :) but if i grind in cata (w focus dagger!) and earn it my self i gain exp adena from mobs etc

but i youve done it yourself so is it really smart 2 buy AA (for 1:2 or needs 2 be 1:1 or else you dont make profit) and a reasonable price for Blanks and Seal stones but i saw ppl only buying the green ones why ?
you can still manor as an archer (or any other massivly high damage output ranged class)
just run up to the mob
seed
run back
kill
harvest
If you use a buy shop to buy the AA and and Blank Scrolls, yes.

Try buying the AA for 1a or 2a less and the blank scrolls for 1k less than the sell shops selling them.

For example, on Erica, ancient adena usually sells for 4a and blank scrolls for 3,500a on sell shops. So on my buy shop I will buy the AA for 3a and blank scrolls for 2,500a.

I dunno why some people buy just green seal stones though. I think it is the type that drops more in the catacombs. So it might be easier to buy. I could be wrong about it though.

Of course grinding on the catacombs and getting it yourself is better. But you won't get enough blank scrolls to mass produce EWDs.
franz is 1:2 (sometimes 1:1 :)) and ewd goes for 450k blank scrolls
1.5k

so thats good for profet ^^

@nameless i think that just dont work man lol seed run back kill run 2 mob harvest and then you got 1 crop wooot 1000 more 2 go :P nah i can say and prob not the only 1 you cant manor with bow (or you need 2 1 hit your mobs :) )
If you go to Hardin's and manor the fettered souls, you most often get 2 crops from them. They aren't aggro, so you could go up to them and seed, run a few steps back and start shooting... Slower exp perhaps, but if you really want to make money you have to make compromises. But still, the best way of making adena is crafting. For example, a top D grade weapon craft costs about 1.6-2m adena, and on Teon they sell for 3m+. Doing that of course takes time, buying the materials for cheap or manoring them yourself. Top C grade weapon crafts(emi bow being the most common one) cost about 7m to make and sell for about 13m.

I started doing crafts when I had 10m adena saved up, crafted 1 emi bow for 7m, sold for 13m. Used that money to craft 2 emi bows, sold both for 13m and what do you know, now I had almost 30m adena. After that I crafted 4 emi bows, used mammon to turn them into samurai longswords and then made 2x sls*sls and sold both for 32m..

That takes time and patience and some basic knowledge of the market prices, but IMO the absolutely best way of making money.

Edit: Forgot to say that you don't really need a dwarf yourself to do it, but it sure helps..
"Of course grinding on the catacombs and getting it yourself is better. But you won't get enough blank scrolls to mass produce EWDs."

Maybe I am wrong, but I think you can get the quest from gk Ziggurat, down in the catacombs, and get a blank scroll from each mob you kill. :-)
Not from each mob.. closer to 1/100 mobs :(

Not from each mob.. closer to 1/100 mobs :(

Yeah. If it wasn't for that there would be no need to buy the blank scrolls.
i just bought 400 ^^ so can make 4

about the crafting i really wanna craft (not become dorf giran ftw)
but can you really buy all the mats ? in giran? for example i couldnt find all mats for homu :<
You can get a homunkulus by buying a Dark Screamer on the Luxury Shop and doing an even exchange for it on the Blacksmith of Mammon.

It is much easier than hunting the homunkulus materials.

I think when it comes to C grade weapons it is only worth crafting top C since you can't even exchange with the weapons that exist on Luxury Shop and upgrading them through Mammon is too expensive.
yeah i heard that 2 just change via lux shop :) does it still make profit thougd ?

and SA acumen ? you need 2 go 2 BS mammon so how much is SA acumen? and how much does it increase value normal homu is about 8 mill ?
ohw and does homu sell well ? (i can already andswer it but still)
if i make 3 homu a day and sit in giran for the rest of the day there all sold? or is more lile you sell 1 homu per week

cause only c grade dudes got homu (b with acume and oe )
