Dusk Strife

Anyone know for sure what impact this seal has for sieges?

The website and the ingame material seem to disagree. Specifically in regards to whether or not allies can sign to defend a castle.

On the server I play on (Hindemith) Dusk Strife has won. I was able to successfully sign and approve all of our clans (even ones not in ally) to defend... Is that correct?
well as far as i've read and gathered is the owners of a castle that ends up on the wrong side of the strife seal gets increased costs for defences NPC/mercs and other penalties while the other side gets some advantages on the battlefields or if they are on the right side of the seal and are holding a castle as in reduced costs better NPC mercs and stuffs. Also losing side has less CP than normal and winning side has more CP than normal but i dont really know to what extent, lol.

If you're not supposed to be able to assign defenders/attackers cause of ending up on the wrong side of the seal something's wrong imo >.< but i'm no clanleader nor frequent sieger so i could very well be utterly wrong, lol
I am pretty sure you can sign defenders, but they will not spawn in the castle when they die. Also, your walls and doors are weaker and your mercenaries suck.
On our server when it happened, defending clans that were on Dusk spawned 2 towns away.

I don't know if the rules have changed since then.
Yeah the respawn at castle is just lost.
