Augment stones - would you buy them?

For the crapshoot in stats that they give, would you buy them when Interlude goes live? Some would say based on the price. What's your price?

As for me, I'll wait for drops although the high quality gives some nice sparkles.

For a few 100k I'd say they'd be an interesting deal, more than that and is just crazy. You have like 1/20 of getting something special, and that something special is sometimes either totaly pathetic or just pathetic in your case. Like my homunk / conversion on the pts that has a chance of giving my bishop might 10.

imho many ppl will just put an augmentation on thier weapon for the 'no drop/trade'-part of the whole thing .... :eek:

I am going to keep any I get, and keep putting them on my SOM till I get something useful. I won't buy them though. Not worth the risk of /useskill bighead That's just.. Just no.

I haven't seen any big heads in PTS. Maybe that was removed.

According to some bad korean translation, you could reason that it meant to say, you can only apply an augment 4 times on a weapon.. any update on that?


No I wouldn't buy one for millions and billions adena.. weee +50 CP, now I'm invincible. I do want the cool glow though :3 But form what I hear, just about every mob can drop these stones..

I might use one if I got one or found one for a few 100k - but I'm not really sure it'd be worth it. I don't like that I wouldn't be able to trade weapons with my other chars, or lend out to friends :/

i have augmentet my weapon on the pts like 8-10 times i think, you should be able to do it again and again and again and so on.

Im sure you can try it over and over again. think about it, you buy a wep on the market and wanna put one of those augment stones on it, and it has already been done 4 times so you cant. not very likely :/

u cant trade em. augmention is another /fail by ncsoft. gz.

But you can buy one that has been augmented but had the augmentation removed.

From everything that I'm hearing about the augmentations, I'd probably sell them, but I doubt that I'd buy them. If adena can be made selling them, even for only 1K, you can best believe that there will be a market of some sort for them.
