She's lying. I called it. Yup, she is. Omega used up all the rabbits on PTS this year and all that are left are the breeding pairs. Looks like they better start multiplying again... like rabbits. I'm talking about the rabbits multiplying. Not Mistryl and Omega.
Whatever happened to "The Customer is ALWAYS right."
We want an event!
Please don't make me organize the masses in protest. Sit ins, sleep-ins, holding our breath until we all turn blue... you don't want that on your conscience, now do ya?

you know that will never happen. You'd get sick of not playing, and you'd be driven back by that invisible force that keeps you here....you know it's true!

I work in the Customer Service industry.
I cannot begin to tell you how false that statement is.
Here's an example....
One of our customers called in to our technical support line yesterday. She wanted to establish a Bluetooth pairing between her cellular phone and her car, so she could transfer, via Bluetooth, her addressbook and other information.
Problem being, she called us on said cellular device while driving said car.
I wanted to tell her, as I listened in on that call (yes, I am that girl... the one listening in when you hear "this call may be monitored...") ... I wanted to tell her "I'm sorry ma'am, our devices are fool-proof. Therefore, they cannot be used by fools. Have a nice day."

I've my share of horror stories from years of working in hotel management. Believe me when I say that you've no idea of what "impact customer relations" is unless you've dealt face to face with a pompous, irrational, unreasonable, unjustifiably irate, albeit very influential guest at 3:30am, because he thinks the placement of the in-room haberdasher rack is preventing him from getting any sleep...a rack that didn't seem to cause him any distress the first 7 days of his stay. (In fact, he routinely piled his clothes on it, as was the case that night.) :)
The statement should not be interpreted literally. It's the spirit of the principle. The customer is right that you are there to assist them. How you assist the customer, however, is up to you.
I disagree with you on a fundamental level, especially in this venue, because your $15 a month does not explicitly state that you will get holiday events.
Personally, I thought the rabbit event the first time round was asinine. In fact, I've thought every event since the attacks of the monster armies was asinine.
More to the point, though... my personal opinion is that, sometimes, the best help you can offer a customer is no help at all. I also believe that, sometimes, the best help you can offer a customer is terminal... for the good of us all.
BTW, I wouldnt work in such an environment. I don't cope well with people with misguided concepts of "influence" and "importance". Had it been me, I'd have maced the guy... there's always other jobs.

I removed the haberdasher and gave him a complimentary pass to the "Executive" breakfast. Our GM would host a small group of "distinguished guests" in the main lounge each morning. Naturally, I left a journal to prep the GM about said guest. It was really just a 10 minute walk through with a breakfast consisting of pasteries, sliced fruit and coffee. But it made the guests feel privileged. The irate blowhard was pleased to have the invitation. Turns out he pulled the GM aside and raved about the hotel, specifically my department.
Wow, didn't realize everyone was so hard core anti-Event.
Yes, I know what my $45 entitles me to, people. Don't take everything that I say so literally. (Or did you really think I was going to hold my breath until I turned blue???)
I would like to have that piggy event. If i'm not wrong,on corean servers they could get even new accesories threw that event. That would be just ...uhh ...

well on corean servers they get many events that US or Europe can only dream of, i would just like to know - Why is there such a big difference between corean and US/Europe servers whan it comes to events???
