i am almost hitting lv.40 and looking what for gear 2 buy
basicly i am gonna grind in cata necro so i will buy a dagger first (Dark screamer focus? or upgrade 2 crystel dagger? but no focus :< and theres no might mortal anymore right?) and then for pvp il buy a bow emi cheap shot?
armor? theca? maybe another armor is better but i want the best gear for bow pvp :) althougd i grind in catas (pvp castle sieges etc)
jewels ? just buy the top 1 from lux shop in giran? or?
and dyes ? i assume 2x the same greater dye +dex and -min con ?
Plated leather is what I'd get, dunno about Franz but on Teon that's pretty expensive. Other than that I'm not really sure, to me it seems silly to have 2 weapons for a HE, you can farm in catacombs with bow too. But that's just my opinion :)
plated leather for sure as your armor, and if you are willing to lower you Hp I got +Str - Con for more dmg.
And for the dagger I would go darkscreamer /w focus.
Slayer, if you're working with a tight budget, get the DS/Focus, and whichever armor you can afford. If you can't afford both +STR and +DEX, then just go +STR to start. And if you can't afford any dyes, don't worry. Long before dyes and weapon SA's were introduced, people were leveling just fine at C grade without them.
Now if circumstances change and you earn adena to spare, get the PL Set, keep the DS/Focus, add +STR AND +DEX, and keep a bunch of the cheapie heal pots in your inventory. At level 40 to about 45 they'll still heal enough of your HP from mob attacks to keep you upright and farming/manoring/leveling nonstop.
One final caveat to going -8 or more CON: be careful what you hunt, as stuns, shocks, etc., will land more on you with that setup. But this is only temporary, because when you get to B grade, you'll find very few mobs that will actually touch you and your BOP.
Didn't you hear him. He is just about to hit 40. why would he have a money problem? He is only getting 2 weopons and some armour. not like 3 or 5 weopons and 2 sets of armour. Gosh!!!
Well if you got adena probs, 2 weapons should be a no no..
Stick with one weapon then. the bow as you are going HE and if you dont have a sec account for recharge I would advice you to go Cheapshot on it.
And then get PL with the adena you had for the sec weapon.
And for the why not a DEX+ tat is that I usally dont whant -8 ( both STR and DEX )in CON as stun will land alot and the HP is to low.
And I usally like STR more as I like to crit harder then crit more... but Alot of people will tell you that DEX is better, and it probebly is..
EDIT: btw for the making adena thing I would say playing the market is great for that, becuse the market price is insane and people have to much adena and to litle patience..
I spent around 12 mil on plated leather alone on Lionna.
The boots are a ridiculus price but the additional strength is worth it.
The benefits work great for your bow never mind the dagger for up close.
Plated leather aint available from the lux shop so be prepared to wait for some kind crafter to sell it to you :)

I'm just saying he has options...evidently better options than I had at D or C grade on my first toon. I made it, having less, I'm sure he'll make it just fine, having more.
well I should get the plated leather and then hunt for the plated leather boot designs..
The skeletons at the entrance to dragon valley drop them.
When i hunted there last time I got about 3 key items a night, so a couple of nights there and you can craft them your self.
And if I am not mistaken there should be a fishing quest were you can get plated leather gloves as a reward.
