Okay, but im still not sure WHERE to hunt w/ my hatchling....im a lvl 44 Swordsinger :confused:

Well, I like to level my pets together with my characters.

So if you want to go that route, a good place for you and your pet might be hunting Formors south of Ivory Tower. You can also take the time and do the magic coin quest there. :cool:

Just be careful with the Bugbears because sometimes they might agro.

make urself a healer and just hunt anything really
you can time the heals that even if the monster if 5 lvls to high and 3 hits will kill ur hatchiling, if you time correctly you can kill it and get tons of XP for the pet
but yeah try to get something with no skills and easy to beat on :P

would i be okay there as a 44 swordsinger??

You should be fine against the Formor. I am leveling there with my 42 swordsinger. The mobs are yellow to her but she can kill them easily.

well from lvl 35 to lvl 40 I hunted with the hatchling at wasteland hunting the "low Pdef mobs" Tyrants.
Basiclly I just go with low agro area with low Pdef monsters.

Aggro won't be critical for a class with aggression.

It's best to have buffs for the pet as exp is based on teh damage he does. I can't remember if these days he can only earn exp for half the mobs hp or something to that effect...I haven't lvled one in over a year and people claim a lot of things on various forums so don't hold me to that.
