Infernal Form

To all destroyers/titans:

Is it wise to invest SP in this skill? Does this have any effect in physical damage, or increase in p.atk? What does it actually entail?

Any help will be appreciated.

thx
It adds fire element to your attacks which means:
-If they are weak to fire, they take more damage from your attacks
-If they are resistant to fire they take less damage from your attacks (you might want to not use it)
-You are resistant to fire

Note that weak to fire is pretty common for certain types of mobs and might help you counteract high pdef.
Do players have extra 10% resistance to fire (compared to other elements, unbuffed)? Does it affect damage from Infernal Form in PvP?
I have not tried Infernal Form in PvP. It might help somehow defensively against Sorcerers, or not. In PvE, it seems like maybe it helped me kill tree monsters a little faster near Devastated Castle. And it also helped quite a bit against the Flame DoTs of one of the mobs in VoS (Wisdom of Splendor, I think it was), and somewhat against flame nukes from the other mobs. Outside of that, it's effect is so small it's not worth bothering with.

dot skills are usually calculated useing bleed so i doubt that helped
i hear its pretty useless but i cant see how it would hurt to have a little fire damage added on when you are hunting fire weak mobs

I am saying from actual experience, before and after, that it helped against a particular kind of DoT - a flame DoT. But, outside of VoS and some pre-40 dungeons, I haven't encountered too many mobs with flame DoTs.

Edit: Now that I think about it a little more, with Infernal Form on, the Flame DoTs weren't landing. Once when I forgot to re-activate it, sure enough, another Flame DoT landed on me.
Thank god you don't encounter them too much...Flame is already though enough.

well the land rate on those dots is kinda random so you might need some lenghty trials to see if it works
either way youve done more trials than me so ill take your word for it
