Calculating the dmg

does anyone know how can i calculate the dmg i get from melee atks, depending on my p.def and the p.atk of the damage dealer ?
l2calc got something going but its not finished yet maybe check there in a few weeks, at the moment i think they the only one making such info
double post.
I am on a good mood so ill aswere for you quickly.
dmg=(pattack*70)/pdef
dmg with ss = 2*(pattack*70)/pdef
skill dmg = ((pattack + skill power)*70)/pdef
skill dmg with ss = (((2*pattack) + skillpower)*70)/pdef

skill dmg with ss in interlude = (((2*pattack) + (2*skillpower))*70)/pdef

dmg with ss = (2*(pattack*70)/pdef)*(crit modifier*(critrate/1000)))

fixed^^

crit modifier depends on buffs, it can get up to 6-7

Before interlude it can be up as high as 21x. At interlude the max is around 17x.
Nice formulas, but there is a random factor in there somewhere. Seems to be more random for melee than for nuker. Anyone know how the random part fits in?
((Patk*70/Pdef)*Multipliers*randdmg)+(critdmg*70/pdef)

Multipliers being soulshots, critical hits, crit damage, etc. It isn't necessary to single each type out.

randdmg can be found at l2p.bravehost.com in the "Misc" section. Most weapons are +/- 10%. (aka max damage is *1.1, min damage is *0.9)

critdmg = Vicious Stance, Critical Damage passive, Crt. Damage SA. They're not even boosted by soulshots. Or at least crit damage passive wasn't when I tested that.

Both P.Atk. and P.Def. are actually taken in their long form, not the rounded version you see in the status window. For example, your status window P.Atk. may say 331 but in reality it's 331.51651.

Magic damage is a completely different formula.

pretty sure there is no random formula for magic damage
if you use the same spell on the same mob it will always do the same damage
