Red Soul Crystals

Hi,

I have two Red Soul Crystals, Stage 4. I know that you can absorb souls into them to then enhance weapons. How long do they take to saturate, and are they worth it?

you have to be above lvl 40 and have the quest. if you do, just kill the mobs over and over and eventualy it will lvl (or break)
or you can just forget that and buy them up to like lvl 7 or so

So, my poor little L21 Wiz needs to sell them or wait for aaaaaaaaaages?

I have a question about lvling the crystal. Colour doesn't matter, I know, but mines blue ^^. i.e. can't be bought in the npc shop.
So question; I am hunting the timak orcs and lvling as suggested by the npc.
I get messages stating that the soul cannot be absorbed or something about vibration frequencey? Is this normal? How many mobs does it take before it lvls?

Also is there a way to find out what lvl crystal my weapon requires to attain the special affect? TY :D

for starters soul crystals no longer break when lvling

the vibration thing is when you have more than one in inventory (cant do that :P)

to see what the sa options are for a weapon take it to a blacksmith or hop on over to stratics (http://;ineage2.stratics.com)

OP got it from newbie quest probably (hunting wolves I think).
If you visit Giran one day on your travel for quests and such, sit there overnight and sell it for few 100k.

So, is it worth my Wiz detouring to Giran and putting the two stones he has up for sale?

Isn't the lowest SA cry you can use stage 5? For low C weapons.
Stage 5 go for about 250k on Teon, last I checked. Maybe you can sell your stage 4s to someone who's too lazy to go 1-5, but I don't think the market for that is that big. Maybe you can net 200k a piece. (The lowest SA cry you can buy from lux shop IIRC is stage 7).

yeah the lowest sa cry needed is lvl 5 so if someone buys it they still have to lvl it
not sure if anyone will want stage 4's these days since you can just buy crys from the lux shop (not sure on prices)

I just found one myself. Is this a preemptive drop to the Heavy Metal event?

The Heavy Metal events drop Medals instead of actual soul crystals.
More than likely someone got a bunch of soul crystals from the quest NPC and dropped it to get another one, then repeated.
