You recieve "noblesse gate passes" for winning matches and for becomming hero. These can be traded in for enchants and other high end items. I know on Lionna it's about 150-200 mil per month.

heroes can 1 shot the cp of the zariche user
heroes can talk in global chat
heroes get some cool skills, UD, 500pdef and pattack boost for surrounding ally members, self zerk (well more like super zerk)
heroes can pick a hero weapon to use, depending on class those are the best weapons in game
the hero pole has the SAs haste, accuracy, 25% hp and cp boost and crit cancel (a better form of cancel than mages get) if god played L2 thats the pole he would have
archers never use the hero bow
