umm.. I've been here for every chronicle, including the public launch and prelude, and this by far is the least amount of fan fair of any of them.
Is it because the community is a little smaller? Is it because we already have all the info and there's nothing left to talk about? Is it because Interlude is by far the weakest update yet?
I mean, sheesh.. it's almost 10am central time, and I looked all over and couldn't even find a single thread about "are the servers down", "are the servers up", "how do I get it", etc, etc.
In the past there would have been at least 3 of each of those kinds of threads, in at least 3 or 4 different sections.
For me, I think it's that I've poured over the patch notes, and there just isn't much to it. I guess the new weapon enhancements is kind of cool. New skills are always cool, or at least they would be if they weren't 78+. I guess it's just a poor update in my eyes, it's just not generating that kind of excitement like all the previous ones.
It's the far most weakest patch up to this date. ALl this patch bring, is a few skills, and for most classes you need to be 77+ to get them, also ONE new dungeon.
Some other minor useless changes.
I myself already lost quite a lot of interest, no new content for almost 1 year time is quite to long.
Perhaps everyone is still pondering why the new race that is coming out in the next update has one wing. But yeah I agree, not much excitement from this update, which is dissapointing since its the end of the chronicles and beginning of the interlude.

I was hoping for a new adena making event sinse they removed all the previous event items.... to bad, think we have to hold our breath on this one for a lil more.
This new update have noting for me. The new weapon enhancements is good and all but for someone like me. full time job, marry with kids and only get to play 1rh 1/2 everyday. There notting for player like me...I'm only lev65 it took me 2years to get ot this lev and every update is the samething..all the good stuff is for 78+ an the full time players...
Hope one day Ncsoft do something for the little guys....but i can onyl dream......

They weren't flaming the content really, I just saw them complaining about the lack of it.
Edit- Its seems that some people have come to expect a "standard of updates" (content-wise) from the developers, and perhaps they feel that NC didn't live up to it this time. I dunno though :confused:
While Interlude doesn't affect my live characters much, PTS was a nice chance for me to sample all the top-level stuff, not to mention this was the first Chaos Week I was able to participate in (no time for the C5 one).
So for me Interlude is just that, an in-between period that gives me the chance to improve my characters until Chaotic Throne hits. Interlude simply added some features I can (hopefully) one day reach.
Honestly, more than features for middle levels I wish the drop rates were improved.. Although a few middle level features wouldn't be a bad way of boosting our enthusiasm. ;)
Dude, middle level features, mainly things to improve quests, Fight Boredem, Faster mana, and such things would be amazing(mabey a 5 min cool down on mana pot isntead of 10, i dont understand why HP & CP has 5 mins, but MP has a 10 min cool down! WTH, its really anoying when you try and solo a nuker but never have mana (cuz body to mind lv 1 blows(22 mana for 120+dmg, WTH)

relax guys, its been said before, its jsut a few changes and an introduction to the CT. We can expect some more stuff in the next update. hey but look on the bright side! WE GET MORE HAIR ACCESSORIES! rofl
