will the current pts --> live converter int he download section work for converting interlude test server to the live server once server is up?

Yes

Or just copy LineageII.exe from your Live client over to the PTS client, start it and let it patch once the update servers is up. And the PTS client will be Live and Interlude.

I haven't tried it that way, but I manually copied the files from one to the other and the updater recognized everything. Just make sure you don't overwrite your screenshots like I did in C3 ;)
