PTS to Live conversion

I dont know if anyone got this to work but I dled it and its an old exe from july 10, 2006 and then just gets replaced by the updater. and when I log in it only gives me the option as barts being up and not the server I plpay on I am very confused.

What do I need to do to fix this?

That's because you are login in the PTS. Just do a Full Check and it should fix that problem.

or run " cmd " and type ipconfig/flushdns
have used that alot in Lineage.. now that I think of it, only for L2 :p

Go to the Start menu, select "Run". When the dialog box comes up, type cmd and hit <enter>. When the command window opens, type ipconfig /flushdns and then hit <enter>. Type exit and hit <enter> to close the window. Run the L2.exe and click check files. When that finishes, you should be able to log into the Main servers.

i wish i saw this before... i got so confused trying to convert stuff so i deleted and reinstalled... now gotta get c4-ct >< oh well.....

After going thru this on two computers, allow me to clarify.

Assuming you have a copy of PTS on your computer:
1. Download the PTS to live conversion file on your computer.
2. Copy the Lineage2.exe file found in that download.
3. Paste it into your Lineage2 folder (not any of its subfolders, just the MAIN lineage2 folder.)
4. Click ok to overwrite the preexisting file by the same name.
5. Launch your "PTS" client.
6. It will automatically download a couple of files.
7. Run a full check. (if you don't do this, and log on after step 6, you will still end up on the PTS.)
8. Log in.
9. Voila, retail L2 with the Interlude content.

Easiest major update we've had so far.
