This is probably a bug, but when you chang between subclass and main, you lose alot of skills from your bars. I lost 3 whole bars from my main going from sub to main class. and it happens everytime I switch

what was the point to switch to lvl40 subclass on PTS? Were any new features available to this level range? And this bug is not related to any new content.
Anyway my god is this bad. I logged into interlude on my SPS sub, then switched to my cardinal. I was missing about 5 skills. I added them back on, then switched back to my sps. I then had two COMPLETELY blank bars save for the attack icon which I don't even use. good god.

Its called regression testing.
Any change made to the system has the potential to affect all content.
You do not test just the changes.

:) I posted it on 4-6, since it happened not even switching subclasses (I kept losing clan leader and nobless blessing skills). The subclass switch seems to be much, much worse.

Pray tell what ganking has ANYTHING to do with going to the NPC to change from main to sub? You sound like the person who whined about ganking last PTS.
If you claim ganking caused you to not experience this bug then you are playing a way different PTS server.
I confess to enjoy playing my 78 BD way too much to change classes. And I daresay THAT (and not ganking) is why so few people realized it was an issue. They preferred their mains and to xp them and test high end content.
The PTS is a joke. They ask us to test their content by playing the game.
The game on the PTS is not played the way it is Live because all the 12 year olds that dont want to take the time to level their real character and then risk losing all their stuff get giddy at killing people when they walk out of town.
All fun and no risk.
Except the people that are playing to see the changes and will report any problems they find.
I never intended to rehash all the arguments made elsewhere. Simply another exasperated sigh of a comment saying, DONT COMPLAIN ABOUT BUGS IN LIVE WHEN WE COULDNT TEST IN PTS.
Saying that NOONE wanted to do the sub class is ignorant.

I will from this point on simply put on any post made on this board that is complaining about a bug.
I can pretty much guess whats causing this from just switching from one toon to another on my account. I was logged onto my nuker and restart and logged my dagger. I looked in my skill box screen and still had all my nuker spells in there. I couldn't use any of them but then I didnt have any of my dagger skills either. I am guess there is a lag problem changing over info while switching chars or between subclasses. If the skill isn't in your skill box the quick bar has no skill to link to so it removes it.
I also have seen items move around on there own in my inv. Ill open it up will just standing there and one item will suddenly switch places with another. Kinda freaked me out when I thought something vanished. I think it will resolve itself when everyone is done updating and the servers are not being hammered for downloads. Its prob all just a result of lag.

I never intended to get a sub on PTS, then GM's started to boost to 79...so I changed my sub to GH... got boosted to 79, and played it....it's still happening to this day (I wanted to try the class).
it's really bad, it takes away, macros, skills, consumables. And it takes like 5 minutes just to fix your hot bar again.

If you are saying you couldn't test class changing in the safety of town, then I say wow, I don't understand what game you were playing. You do realize how silly it is to whine about people ganking OUTSIDE town while you get changed in town? I guess not since you did it...

In the future, be sure of what you are accusing someone of before you actually do. Unless, of course, you like looking silly. I always try to take care to not make sweeping generalizations. I hate it when it's done to me.
BTW, before you say this wasn't directed to me - perhaps you should watch who you reply to. ^^
I hate having to switch from main to sub. Its bad enough I'm a dwarf and can carry so much more on my main than I can on my sub, so I have to play the warehouse dance every time I switch. I dont need to play rebuild the skillbar every time too. Make with the fixing already.
When Interlude came out I was on my subclass. I stayed on my subclass until yesterday, when I had to get on my main. Man, that sucked. I lost 21 of the 24 hot keys that I use. I think I'll be staying on my main for a while now.
I dont know if this was posted, but theres a temporary fix. If your main uses bars 123 then have your subclass use 456 and the bars will not be wiped when you switch. However if you have a 3rd sub he's SOL, and if you have a prophet or summoner that uses almost all 10 bars...just take screenshots so you can remember how to put them back lol.
