Sorry to dissapoint you, but this is as good as the answer is going to get.
There is no best. It's balanced to some degree, so there is always a class/ archetype that can defeat you. It all boils down to what you want your role to be, and whether or not you have people who you can use/ can use you to your potential as a character of the given class. You know... skill. Don't think that being one class automatically makes you the best... or there is one class that is better than all the rest.
