NEW heals (hot) got NERFED

at least, all HOTS are now in ur buffslots means: if u got a WC/OL and a healer in ur party u gotta have 2!!!!! free buffslots, ty nc soft for putting HP pots in a new row ... u dont have to use pots, but u have to be healed ... should i take now pots with me not a healer ? (we tested it out)

another point are the hotkeys which dissapear switching to sub

Nice so we can roll around with a SE and heal ppl and purge their buffs? Actually, I could run around, give them kiss of eva and crap like that, and then heal.

thats completly correct, greater heal is pushing out buffs as well as g group heal heart of paagrio and chant of life

But the heals now stack, so it is well worth your sacrifice of the least useful other buff to get these.

And you healer should see now if the previous HoT is still in effect.

We should get an extra extra two buff slots then.

Of course, just adding a visual effect to a character and leaving it on the third bar would have been too much to ask.

I would agree... if it wasn't for the fact that I can no longer recharge EEs with my SE so they can keep their Major Heal's going.

No, he means they are advantage, because they do not take buff slot as Greater heals do.

Way to go, NCSoft. First they give us more buff slots because with all the buffs we run out of space for them - and then they make greater heals and orc heals take up a buff slot each, so that effectively everybody has only 18 slots to begin with...

then buff more accordingly to what is needed, get the buff slot skills. and the problem is solved, alot of the time some buffs arent needed, and some are... i dont see any problem really, it means LESS mindless buffing and more strategy. i wont say i agree with it, but what can u do? adapt...

Conclusion: its not the end of the world to spit away 1 more buff or get an extra more buffslot.

The people that moan about this not being a problem obviously haven't had more than 18 buffs in their life..

I didn't get 23 buff slots so that I could get more USELESS HoT's to work on me without bumping my precious buffs.. yes, they're all important..

Another point is.. getting 21 buff slots i easy, getting the 22nd one is hard for many (i got mine from solo'ing RBs with Zariche!), the 23rd buff book is also EASY to get if you know someone that does Frintezza, or buy it in Giran (lots of them for sale on Lionna).

More tactic... Every pp/wc/se buff with macros. Or at least most of them. And r to lazy to change macro.

Obviusly you never played a buffer...

Every high lvl buffer does buffs by hand... And he/she accomodates the buffs cast depending on the hunting ground and the party. With all Dances and Songs, WC buffing all party members with both fighter and mage buffs and with Prophets having TOO many usefull buffs... Yeah, you can come up with a tactic and share it with us too, if that's no biggie...

They talk a lot about third row for heals and dances. But it seems to be the same... just healing pots goes there :confused:

huuu not only that... in pole party you can buff vr and sit again coz you cant recharge EE, BP, oh wait just get a 70+ WC and get the vr from him + better and faster buffs, well you can go with mages but why the hell should they take you if all have boxed SEs?

so what for is SE now? hmm heals are just funny now, buffs can be replaced from other chars in end game, no more recharges for BP, EE, most SEs are boxed so no need to get live one, im just confused here what for are SEs in game? :confused:

I'm only 57, but I don't do my buffs by hand and never will, because I can't buff on-the-fly by hand while still watching the other screen so I can interrupt what I'm doing to CC.

As for healing? Well, buff slots should not be an issue in the kind of groups SEs are designed for.

Small groups. Duos, trios. Get rid of your -10 STR, buy a weapon appropriate to your level and possibly some light armour and cast speed pots, and go to town.

Prophets have been doing this for some time.

The irony here is that, at least in our groups, the tank is the character that most needs all of her buff slots. You've got self-buffs, dd buffs, shield buffs, and so on. And now you need a slot or two for heals? Ugh.

As usual, this is a biggest problem for people running with a SwS+BD combination. I wish they'd quit nerfing the pair. :( Although I suppose last night, my SwS alone could put up 4 songs and start to bump things, and that's without lvl 76+ buffs.

I won't brag about it, but actually Bishops can be recharged AND got the Invocation skill. While this is not exactly what I would like (I'd prefer more xp for larger group, just a carrot), I must say Bishops got a big hug and I feel very sorry for PP who got only slaps in the face.
Now for HoT, not only buffers can't see who has more than 20 slots, but WC buffs are for the whole party so if you don't have a PP to make seperate buffs for mage, tanks will have mage buffs.
So yeah I assume I'd better give a regeneration buff and use heals without HoT... spirit ore will fly!

You know how much of a sore subject this is for me. We've talked about it at length. I'm not a healer, I'm not a buffer. I'm a VR / Empower sponge.

Slow cast times, inefficient heals that now erase buffslots...

There are so many things wrong with HOT being counted as a buff...that is all.

Olorae, look at the positive side. SE's will now be crucial in replacing buffs knocked off by HoTs.
