When the Seven Signs Seal of Strife is possessed by the Lords of Dawn, the Revolutionaries of Dusk cannot use any siege weapons (Siege Golem, Wild Hog Cannon, Swoop Cannon).

from the patch notes.
So you think the people will start and fight for dusk now that they cant use siege machines if the dont win?

People until now hardly use any siege weapons. I don't know if that changes in Interlude.

Well there seems to be a revival on Sieghardt as of late. Don't think this will help the blue priest in town though.

well i think the cannon will be of SOME use.. but .. are ther elarge enough bodies of people in sieges nowadays on NA server to really prompt is use is the bigger question... Korea Dev's just dont see what the NA servers n eed

I see it as one more reason why Castle owning clans would strife to let Dawn win again, so that the attacking clans won't have the capability of using siege weapons...

Even though, I havn't seen a siege golem since my last visit in Rune (the one that a dwarf is building there! :P ) So, I don't think Dawn will have any problems with that... If it was the other way around (meaning, if Dawn won then attacking clans could use siegw weapons) well, that would prolly make sieges a bit more intresting! :P

This assumes that the attacking force is Dusk.

On Gustin NOONE is Dusk.

I want to see the froggie cannon's damage on people before answering that question, hehe. : p Siege weaponry to blast away at actual defenders with might make the difference.

It would be more interesting if the strife seal did reduce costs for Siege means if dusk owns strife you get half or better 1/4 of summoning costs for Siege summons like Flags, golems ect. While dawn gets reduced mercenary costs and maybe a raidboss guardian too that can be also attaked with siege weapons. That way sieges would be a lot more enjoyable to watch and warsmiths actually get involved more.
I think i should post that in suggestions too.

Anything that increases the role of a dwarf is good with me. They need more love.

I loved the suggestion that a WS could repair walls and gates from the other side when they were being attacked.
