Hi everyone - working on my first full week of the game and absolutely loving it!
I read in a guide once to not sell stuff like craftables and things like that, so I have been sort of stock piling them. Now I would like to sell them to help afford my first 300k weapon.
I tried (in my town) to use the "search market" action icon, and nothing happened. I am assuming it's because there was no players selling there, but I could be wrong.
Where do most people go to sell there stuff, and is it possible to create an alt that is closer to that city to avoid the big teleport fee if it is far away? If that is possible, I see on one of the NPC's in my town that there is a freight service, which I am assuming would go to other characters, but not too sure where to pick up the boxes or containers that is required to use the freight service.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if there is a player store guide that I missed when checking the guide sections that would be great as well.
The warehouse freightman is who you use to ship items to other characters on the same account. Just click on the guy and select ship freight, pick from the list who you want to send it to, and go from there. There is a charge of 1000 adena for each item you freight. To pick the items up, you can go to any freightman in any city, click on him, select pick up freight and then select the items you want.

The search store icon will highliight a bluish color on stores that have the search terms you put in. Giran has the largest market for buying and selling, but you'll also find shops in Dion, Oren, Aden, Godd and Shutt.
yes. create another toon and take him to giran, thats the town on every server that is used for buying/selling stuff. not every material will sell easy, and there isent any fast way to explain what will sell or not. try it out.
try the manor system to help you with money. btw, dont sell/buy any weapons, just upgrade them at your local weapon store.
