Enhancement
Magic Paralyze
When using bad magic, paralyzes target with a 5% chance of success. Enhances damage to target during PvP.
Thats where I saw it... Im very curious about exactly what counts as bad magic.

I'm thinking bad magic is whatever you can use to attack an opponent and good magic is whatever you use to buff or heal a party member/clan mate/ alliance member. The explanation of SAs doesn't really explain this.

Anything you'd want to cast on an enemy, anything that doesn't benefit your enemy.
"Bad magic" does sound strange.

So, theoretically... if I as a Overlord, leaps in on the masses of enemys sieging my castle, I can throw up a seal, and 7% of the people will get parad..? as well as the seal effect..?

SA land rates aren't that basic IMO. Crit bleed may say 33%, but is definately influenced by other factors.

Not sure if you have a chance to land it on everyone, or if it's only the person you have on target it has a chance to trigger on.

I know, but what I'm not sure of, is if you need a target - if it can only hit one person at a time.

The aoe certainly doesn't, and my aoe root certainly doesn't get the magic effect from weapons...but it isn't a magical skill anyways :/

my understanding of bad magic was anything that caused that red and purple affect to surround your character when cast.
ie. curses and life drains. appears alot when i'm casting with my Dark Elf.
I think there are three classifications of magic in the game;
good, neutral, and bad.

I think the term they meant to use was "Offensive" magic as being the opposite of support or defense magic ie. Nukes and de-buffs.

Would be highly interesting to try out a bad magic paralyze weapon with AoE spells...
