As Craylon said devianne should be a European server cuz the majority of the server are europian players and I think Mystril should make a poll for that. If the server cant be europian just make the event/sieges times more suitable for europians players cuz they are about the 80% of the players on this server. And no one tell again to all europians to go to Teon or Franz cuz they are the most of the time Heavy .
I don't think it should be a European server at all. First of all I don't understand why so many Europeans are on this server considering their ping would have to be pretty high when its located in the US. Besides it only started to become a European server when all these Greeks came in...before there were many people from Canada and the US. If you look carefully there still are!

And why did you make another post about it when there was already one?. As stated, You chose Dev when you first started this game, You continued to Choose dev when Franz's came out, Don't whine and complain about the time zones when you knew it was NA times. Who cares if the majority of people now are from Greece, You do that, your going to screw the orginal people who were on this server, just isn't fair.
just to throw this aspect in: L2 was my first MMO and I did not even KNOW that there are time zone based aspects in the game that could affect me when I chose my server. By the time I noticed (was trying to turn in manor crops), I was already lvl 30 and had made a lot of friends, so there was no way I would have changed server just because of time zones.
I still think this discussion is repeatedly started the wrong way - it should not be "make server XY an European server", but "there are four times as many NA servers than Europe servers - how can this be rebalanced?".
Anyway I am still for internationalized (dual time) servers :P
I think a pretty strong showing of opinions was sounded in the last thread with no real response from NCsoft, so I wouldn't expect anything by opening another thread. If you want anything achieved you have to get it done tactically. Probably this involves direct emails to NCsoft officials, which by the way, since there was a recent leadership shift may or may not mean a shift in the server policy.
But anyway I'm not quite sure a thread, another thread at that, will do anything anymore.
There has been a post about changing Devianne to a Euro server before. I voted NO on it. Reason should be obvious... If Devianne becomes a Euro server, ping would drop, but a lot of new Euro players would join and Devianne would be Heavy as well. With that Heavy load, you'd get more lag then what you win from the lower Euro ping...
At the moment I have an avarage ping of 112 on Devianne, and I'm quite pleased with it. Ok, I can't participate in the Olympiad and sieges as much as I wanted, but for the time being I realy don't care about that... If I ever would like to participate in those I'll stay up a bit later then normal :D
That's an interesting way of looking at it Demi, and probably quite true unless they changed 2-3 other NA servers to Euro for the sake of evening out the Euro population
