Hello; I haven't played in a while and have a few questions. Well first off, I played a SR to 43, a Glad to 40 and a Scav to 30 a few years ago. But since then my idea of fun in an MMO has gone from DD to Healer/Buffer so I am looking for a semi-fresh start back here on L2. I have right now a LE Fighter at level 20 and was wondering if a SwordSinger would be a viable class to play for someone who enjoys a healer/buffer role. (I don't really care about being teh uber l33t PvPer or teh super fast leveler). Or if I should just re-roll another class that would more suit my idea of fun.
Another question is, right now I have higher up D-Grade gear (Salamander, Str. Long Bow, Cursed MGC, etc.) and I was wondering if there is an easier way to getting more appropriate gear, other than selling it to players and re-buying. I thought I had heard of a way to "exchange" items now?
should be some information around here someplace about the "seven signs competition". you sign up at the dawn priest the first week, then you can enter the catacombs and necropoli. in the second week you can still enter them, but you can exchange drops that you got at the dawn priest for "ancient adena". "aa" can be used in a catacomb at the blacksmith to upgrade weapons (armor cant be upgraded), or in a necropolis at the merchant to buy enchants, genstones, crystals, scrolls and dyes for tattoos. the blacksmith and merchant only show up durring the second week.
if you want to play a healer in L2, i would suggest first making sure that there is at least one person on your server that wants to be healed. this is a lot harder than it sounds. but SwS isnt a healer its a party buffer, so i think you'll be okay :) wb
Healer/buffer? I think Orc Mystic classes might be great for you. They buff, though do not have some uber heals, but Chant of life or Heart of Pa'agrio helps the whole party or ally.
