I recently made an ES to play when no one else is on to party with on my 7x bishop/when I want to be by myself, and I'm a bit uncertain as to how I should equip it. I don't have any buffers or anything to help me out, so I need to be entirely self-sufficient, with little to no downtime, also without spending a ton of money on pots/consumables.
At lvl 40 I can still be a decent nuker -- should I just solo like that up to 44? (I imagine by that point the nukes will be too gimpy to use solo.) I've got a set of karmian robes that I took from my recently-graduated SH academy alt, but I figure I'll put the ES in BW light when/if he gets to 52.
But what should I do for a weapon? Grab a mage weapon and be a pseudo-nuker for a couple more levels? Grab a 2H and use the boxer to tank and be a psuedo-melee DD? Or a dagger? Should I do +STR or +DEX or +WIT?
(As you can tell by my questions, I'm new to the summoning class and have no idea how to go about doing it, and they seem to be a lot trickier than any other class to set up.)
