Fun class to play...

Hi, I've recently started the game and felt that my warrior wasn't the way to go. I searched alot on the forum
to find out some fun classes to play. I didn't look for best pvp.. cause I don't want an archer nor a nuker.
The only thing I'm looking for is fun. After all, that's what we all want. I also looked for something uncommon.
So far, I thought about Overlord, sws, warlock or elemental summoner and maybe Elven Elder (but hard to solo,
because I plan to solo most of the time)
Any other suggestions or comments about them? Thanks :D

All summoners are fun to play.

I wouldnt suggest any healer classes unless youre REALLY into healing :P

SwS/BD always needed and wanted into groups (not really rare tho)

OL nah... unless you have big ally dont go this route :)

Dagger classes are fun imo, also summoners...

Summoners, also oEliinao where did you get yoru sig, it's wrong. Dwarves are NPC's in L1.

Dwarfs are screwed, no surprise that in L1 they "died out"

Overlord -> I'd advise against it.
Straight out this is a powerful CLAN/ALLY SUPPORT class which is deadly in 1v1 PvP, but I wouldn't play this class unless you had a clan to support you and group you. Overlord is not a great solo class really either.

Swordsinger is a party animal and decent at solo. This is a better choice and is great to "explore and see the world" with.
You will be tough to kill... high Pdef, High Mdef, but relatively low offense.

Warlock or Elemental Summoner are wonderful "fun" classes because you are essentially a group all by yourself.
These two are massively great at solo... and if you pick warlock you are also incredibly great at grouping. You see, Warlock party kitty has one of the best unique buffs in the game (raises crit rate and crit damage and makes any melee or archer very happy) Warlock is a party animal who can solo very well. Warlock is also decent at PvP. If kitty or paralyze cubic ever catch them they are in for a quick trip to town.
Elemental summoner has a lesser party pet and a more powerful solo pet.

The only problem with summoner (for you) is that they play like a nuker until at least 40. (most nuke until 5x as its the easiest path, but you can melee with your pet if you are so inclined.)

If I were you, I'd pick Warlock.
Sure, you'd have some nuking to do, but post 40, you are a soloing, party, fun machine who can PvP a little as well.

Watching some cute kitty hand some player/mob their backside is indeed quite entertaining... so is wondering "gee that room is full of red 4x mobs... let's see if I can solo it!"
Also great fun is picking lower mobs and making a statue colllection for kitty to play with (paralyze cubic)...

Well, wait a minute. What do you consider fun? I think warriors are very fun.

I think Dwaves/crafting/spoiling is horrible.

And uncommon doesn't lead to fun as perhaps there are reasons those classes are uncommon.

i would have to say summoner.... soooo much fun... just because you basically have to play all classes, buffer, healer, melee, nuker... great for solo, and it's not that easy, so you'll always be at something . and i would suggest the warlock, great for parties 56+ and binding cubic is the best thing ingame.

Yes warriors are fun, but they weren't what I was looking for. However, I understand your question. :D

For me what's fun is having alot of things to do. For example, as a warrior I only had to click on mobs
and sometimes use war cry and battle roar. It was getting more and more boring as I was lvling. I also
like to help others. As I can see, summons have great unique buffs which is what I'm looking for.

Not to forget I'm mostly solo type (unfortunatly I don't know many people). Having trouble soloing might be a problem too.

just a word to the wise... as a summoner... you're basically nuking till 44... then you can use your summon to it's full potential

Have you tried pole as warrior, that's the funniest thing for me in Lineage2. You need party all the time though so if not a social animal don't try it
Summoners are good and great soloers + those buffs are good for party as well
