Fellow summoners, i'm a warlock lvl 40 and now i see this nice (to not say stupid) skill named erase. So my question is how is the landing on our summons. Is it 100%? Becouse if it is, i trully need to say that nc devs sure need a punch in their head for make a hole class useless from now on... (i know this post will pbb be deleted :() I mean the weapon from a summoner is it's summon and now there is someone that can just take out my weapon... I'm coll then gimme something to use becouse if they are expecting us to use the lvl 35 blazing spell i really need to say "OMG, ARE YOU NUTS????".
This is the small complain of a player that can already see his summoner standing in the middle of a pvp doing nothing then stand still becouse his summon got erased.
It's not 100%. If someone gets it into their head to Erase your servitor, it will go down. However, if a buffed archer gets it into his or her head to kill your servitor, the same thing will happen (it has lower PDef than robe characters after all).
As you level up, you will realise that the servitor is much more than just supplemental damage. Without the servitor, your defensive capabilities are severely restricted as well, in more ways than I care to think about.
But yes, Erase sucks.
And ironically enough, it sucks for healers almost as much as for summoners.
Eh, I have never had a problem with Erase. I personally use +4 Kesh*Kesh Duels so even if the summon goes down I can take the nasty healer out as well with my cubics and duels. Stun Cubic usually lands on the Prophs, SEs, and Bish and keeps them still long enough to kill.
However, even if the summon is down I am usually in some semi-mass PvP when it gets erased and I can fall back behind my allies and resummon in a flash with an Acumen pot.
It is annoying to be sure but I find the land rate is somewhere around 25% from personal experience. Before they can get 4 Erase skills off (or three for that matter) the buffer's face is firmly planted in the ground. ^^
