Could someone explain:

1. Whats the difference with different grades of Life Stones
2. How many GemStone do you need to spend?
3. How much does it cost to remove augment?
4. If Chaotic (red) can you drop the augmented weapon?

4. no.

2. Depends on the weapon's grade(life stone's too?). For a B-grade the cost was 30 D-gemstones with a low grade stone.

3. B-grade 270k I think, again depends on your weapon's grade.

I have another question about the same thing.

Have I understood correctly that the active skills are completely random and you could have a great skill from a low level stone and a poor one from a high level and vice versa?

from what I have seen, you can get the skills at various levels, but the effective level of the skill (skill lvl 6 vs 9 for example) gets better as the stones level is higher.

however, yes you can get (I think) a crappy skill from a high level stone and a great skill from a low level, but see aforementioned statement.
