So, I am sitting in Giran ( Bartz server ) selling some stuff when someone name like "Jajajajaj" begins to shout about a website that sell adena and other stuff. I was like WT$*!! So I when to work and didn't care. The next day the same thing, then yesterday the same thing. And then this morning.
I been playing for a full year now an never seen this befor. Do you guys have any comments on this..

And as always, visit those sites at your own risk. NCSoft will not replace your things if you pick up a keylogger and come crying that your account was "hacked"
I saw a full choo choo that if you read their names in the correct order it was an ad for adena sales / powerlvling.
I am betting that the increase in the number of these ads is due to the free trials. I bet they dont care if their account gets closed because they didnt pay a dime for it anyway. Doesn't hurt to petition though.
I saw the same. I was gonna petition, but I got this 811; <location> so I thought, to hell with it. They'll notice eventually.
I have been getting "811:<location> also on several petition attempts. I think what you can just type /petition <problem> and you end up ok.
On a side note 255 characters is not enough for some of these.
btw in wow, we see these all the time, usually outside the bank in ironforge. but in wow you can /ignore them. cant global ignore in l2...suggest you make that a feature pretty soon if you give out trial accounts.
I saw several on Hinde in Giran and Aden so I made 2 petitions as I have 2 accounts up on 2 pcs.
As for petitions, when it required a "live" GM response, I've had one. I can remember my first days in the game and I fell down onto a ledge in DE ville area. A GM teleported me away to safety :P
Several times I have had discussions with GMs over the last couple of years. I have only got good things to say about them as I've always found them helpful and responsive.

Mistryl, I petitioned few times about exact repetitive shouts in Giran or adena selling ad at Monster Derby or player's name being walking ad for such site, and most of times I got response "we will escalate this issue and send you e-mail to you e-mail address associated with your account..."
Then I got e-mail saying something about offensive language being used and that I can block the person from chat using /block command ... I mean ... do GMs actually READ those petitions?
I got a live GM when I reported a bug concerning my WH freight shipment (wasn't working correctly).
In another instance, I received a free SoE after I reported using one which teleported me to another hunting area instead of to town.
It often takes a while for GMs to show up since they usually have to get through a line of petitions before they arrive at mine, but I've always found them very polite.
On the topic of this thread: that adena shout made me "0_o" when I read it. Gutsy little stinkers and their free accounts.
I once had a live gmchar (DE male naked) teleported to my in my grinding personally thanking me for reporting (instead of that copy paste [censored]) a trio of bots, he said they would shortly be gone. Lost the screens in a HD crash sadly. if i remember the gm was named GMKain or something similar. Might remember wrong thou.
This was in C1 thou where bots where rare and banned, and most farmers played their toons and spoke chinease and numbers... god i miss the live farmers... bots sucks..

Hehe, reported two of those buggers already. **** 14-day trials. But still, it's gratifying to see them go *puff* in the middle of their shout spree after you petition and it gets answered.
I also did my part and reported a "shouter". He was spamming the same messages every 45 seconds for like 2 hours before he stopped. I assumed that meant they had finally got the ban hammer out. I find it vastly ironic that not only was he breaking the rules by shouting to sell adena for RL money but that he was using a 3rd party program to do it!!
Why anyone would trust someone like this to deliver what they say is way beyond me.
Yep got it on Gustin too. The thing that made me laugh was at the time I was shifting between towns and every town had the same shout going on. Couldn't tell if it was same guy cos name was something like fftgffrtgft.
