Looting Rules???

Okay so i was doing a RBP and all of a sudden both parties get a popup over our heads that say looting rules no longer active....just wondering what that means

happens when someone is 3+ levels higher than the boss.

Ah.. I got that too, last week I think, but I was just killing regular mobs. Guess there was a raid going on near by. I've been wondering about that.

it means more than 5 minutes have passed since the RB was last hit. The raid channel groups have primacy on drops during the 5 minutes. When it is up the loot is FFA

If a raid group is dumb enough to leave the loot there for more than 5 minutes then they deserve to lose it.

They probably didn't leave any loot, rather the RB probably wiped them and it's been 5 min since they last attacked. They either gave up or could be regenning, rebuffing and/or regrouping.
