You can't discard the arcane stats in order to raise physical ones. Since you will still be PvEing, I'd suggest +STR and possibly +DEX, but the latter is a matter of taste.
+4/5 STR -CON. Any archer that does +CON is not doing their job right.
I'd go for Doom light, if you can't get Plated Leather set. Plated leather set will keep you going until like 76 if you want, or can't (afford to) change to Majestic. This way you'll have pretty decent patk for an SR.
i went with doom light, and +str +dex... hp isn't really that big of a deal when xping. another course is plated leather, with a +dex tat. If you have a buffer with you too, add +str to that also. Don't even bother getting +wit/int, not worth your time.
Get 5+ DEX - CON with Doom Light, don't bother with getting a 6+ set as the bonus isn't worth it so better save the money for MJ light when you hit 61 ^^
Why + DEX well you're an SR whose strong point is his DEX so increasing that will pay off most (crit rate, runspeed & att speed).
+ dex means u will crit a lot more aka more damage output and being able to kite mobs better, for an SR to benefit greatly of + STR he would need to be able to get past 40 STR.. if you have a prophet with bless the body then sure add STR tats for pve+++
for dmg, STR>DEX by pretty far actually.
DEX also increases defensive aspects but the few extra crit/speed/hit cant really compare at all to the p.atk of the STR bonus.
Especially when counting in haste/guidance/focus...
+3+2STR -3-2CON. its worth the hp loss for any archer..
(+3+2 dyes are cheaper then +4+1 @mammon)
+4dex-con is optional. Some use it since they think the dex is worth the extra hp loss, some consider the dex effect to small to lose HP and carry capacity, especially if your DE/LE archer. HEs can sacrifice more hp and have weight limit (how imba isnt this skill really!).
+DEX barely increase damage compared to a good ol' fashioned +5 STR combined with plated leather ^^
+Dex is a luxury, but I wouldn't equip an archer without it during the middle ages (levels 40 - 66). It's not just the crit that DEX improves, but little things like movement and attack speed. For a grouped archer, or one that lives in the catacombs, +DEX isn't that important. But if you hunt in the field, the intangibles that +DEX brings are very evident.
Again, +DEX is not a MUST HAVE, but anything that helps you XP faster is a good thing.
I agree with the armor choice: go Plate Leather and you'll never have to use another armor set until you are well into A grade, if then. (I'm still using the PL set, even though I have Maj Light. I've separation anxieties, I guess. :)) It might take you some time to craft the boots, but it's certainly cheaper than the cost of buying the C and B grade armor sets in the long run.
If you go for the -9 Con be prepared to be a crystal cannon. You will deal a huge amount of dmg, but will also die pretty fast.
But once the post was actually about armor and jewels on b grade for an SR. I will say jewels your choice will abviously be blackore ones, and on armor you can face a bit difficult choice many go for doom light but i actually preffer bw light as pvp set. Doom everyone talked about already, and bw, wich noone talked nothing, will give you no adds on con str or dex, it will increase your men, giving you a better m def and mp regen and the set has quite some more pdef then doom light. The usual choice is doom light anyways...

Without a doubt, the light armor that I love the most, in terms of bonuses. I've used it on all of my fighter classes at one point or another, and even on my SE and Prophet at one time. I can't wait to see it on my future PR. 10 more levels to go.
I also used BW light for PVP during my 52-75 PVP days. It's a good set, you shouldn't underestimate the extra pdef that this set provides, and it looks good too :>
Well I am thinking of going fp since I can use it to such a high level. I don't think I'll do much PVP 'til higher levels so not having to upgrade is a bonus.
I'm thinking +str since I solo mostly but do catacomb some. Trying to decide but I'm still poor lol.
Honestly I'm a bit disheartened by SR these days. Seems very slow comparative to back in the day. A clannie told me I was only good for raids and PvP which kind of sucks til I get good level to do such :P.
