Some of you may have heard Some rumors going around that a new race was going to be introduced into lineage 2. At first i was highly doubtful but the following proves thoes rumors to be true

What are your views on the new race, and the views on the following.

Do you think the race should be subclassable by the other races or should it be a stand alone race.

Say NCsoft offered a service that killed your current toon and your tonn was reborn as a Kamael would you pay the fee to have it done. Knowing that once your a kamael you can NEVER go back, would you pay the fee. ( ithink they should offer this, for the player base. But once you have been transformed you have to do all the class change quests for the new race, and abide by any other stipulations put in place)

From what i have been able to read it dosent look like th Kamael have a Nuker class, would all of you that play nukers give up and switch to a Kamael?

You CAN subclass this new race.

From the vague descriptions I've read it seems like it's playstyle might be very different from other classes. Balancing them will be interesting..

I won't reroll to one, I'll make an alt and try some subs.

Ok so you can sub them but you wont get the wings. And another thing is some people have asked me whats up with the wing. well from what i have hear/been told they have 2 but 1 remains folded untill they ascend.

And yes for me the wings make all the difference

previous posts have said the giants ripped one wing from them out of cruelty. It formed part of the lore i think, it also makes things easier to balance within the game.

One wing looks stylized too :D
I would totally play this new class but maybe only as an alt character and then see how their play style works out.

i think everyone should talk about the one wing race now :)
i don't think they have a set.
for all we know they're decendents from the original sixth race.

According to the interview with L2 developers, translation is on stratics or warsomething I think, he said you can sub.

Edit.. then again, it _IS_ a korean->english translation. All sorts of stuff can go wrong!

other stufff can also go wrong besides the translation of course. like the devolvement from korean to NA servers.

I keep seeing the Kamael referred to as a class. *shrug*

side note: are we sure "Kamael" refers to the one-winged creature and not the 1st Throne?

It refers to both the name of the new playable race and the name of the expansion. Don't take my word for it, anyone who was at the PTS Heine event on April 10th can tell you that Mistryl referred to the new race as the Kamael also.

I missed most of the PTS, so I did not have the pleasure of sitting in on the Wishing Well stories. Thanks for the response.

So NCsoft has named the next expansion after the new race/class/thingies - hope they can live up to the hype - and this makes me wonder how everything else will be changed to accommodate the Kamael, since they are the stars of the 1st Throne. (wishful thinking that NCsoft will incorporate sweeping changes that will redefine and reinvigorate Lineage II ^^)
