if at that level you can solo in valley of the saints, stay. arithmetically, the exp drops off in other areas by level. once youre A grade, start looking for niche spots in wall of argoes.
I soloed alot in Aden Cemetery and after that I was alot in Forbidden Gateway.
Maybe I do not get the same EXP as you get/want but I could level nicely there and with the additional quest I managed to get my a-grade jewelry recipes too.
Theres a spot in Forsaken Plains where you acn 2 shot with CDL, just make sure you use acumen2 pots, you can xp 52->61 here effectively, for more information please PM me.
I would not recommend VoS for any class that can't kill the mobs before their nuke goes off. Except maybe swordsingers, 'cause of their crazy m.def. But any meleer such as WC will be running out of hp way too fast (or mp for steal essence).
Yep, Forsaken Plains for a WC soloing in the 50s. For that matter, I don't think VoS or FoD would be a really good place for a WC to solo at any level. VoS and FoD are full of nuker mobs.

VoS is particularly disgusting to a melee. Mobs split, transform, and cast uncurable DoTs.
VoS is you best bet.
Even though there are other good spots for necromancer.
There is god spot in Frozen Labyrinth - the one with 5 Bandersnatch groups around. The trick is to one-shot boss of the group and use corpse burst. So in two nukes you kill all 4. Drop and xp/mp ratio in this case overcome those for VoS mobs, but you have to run a bit more, since you should do this combo staying next to mobs at the beginning (otherwise mobs will run off first corpse).
At 52 you'll be able to hunt in Tanor Canyon similar way to FL, but generally you have to run more.
Also you can try Forsaken Plains, especially if you have completed Let's become a royal member quest. Experience there differs greatly according to spot you chose, but it's comparable to VoS xp.
There are many spots around Devastated castle and Fields of Massacre, but generally you get lower (my estimation - by 30%) xp than in VoS.
There are good spots around Goddard, in Garned of Beasts, to the east off city. There is plenty of 1/2hp mobs there. With CDL in mind you can 1-shot most mobs there. And later you'll be able to 1-shot them with Death Spike. Not most effective xp-wise, since you have to run a bit, but worth trying.
VoS can be perfect depending on your setup. Right now I have a +9 Homu with Avadon Robes. Without empower I normally spend MP to gloom and bone them until I get a magic pot - as soon as I get one I drop my HP down and start 2-shotting with CDL. I've gone a whole level like this and only died once because I ran out of mana. I'm happy to get a replay for anyone who needs to see my style.
Lol. Have fun CDL'ing in VoS. Cemetary gives more XP per shot then VoS when using CDL. Every mob is over 4k XP (averate 8k XP per mob in VoS - Flash/Claws is 7xxx, Blade is 80xx, and Wisdom is 92xx Xp per kill).
Flash of Splendor always seems to get a few jumps on me per session, and if mobs agro together you run the risk of getting poison or some uncurable dot from Wisdom of Splendor cast on you. Flash and Blade love to spawn near each other, as do Wisdom and Claws, it seems :(
Cemetary is better if you have an SE/EE for recharge, because no herbs drops there - thus, people without buffers don't go there. Valley of Saints seems to be getting crowded by the day :(
I'm 58 now so I think my XP/Hour will be better in Cemetary using CDL since the mobs are closer and there's less running (I kill very fast in VoS to the point where i have to run across the field it seems to get a mob when it spawns sometimes). Plus it's less contested. It should be much better since I have SE leveled up now. Now, I just have to get her closer to me in levels, before I get too high...
I'm guessing I will get good SP in the next few levels o.O
You CDL with 400 HP? I usually have less than that (1 - 250'ish). That uncurable DoT from Wisdom of Splendor eats me alive. It takes half of my 2k HP in < 30 seconds. 5 seconds, and you're dead if CDL'ing when that DoT lands, unless you use GHP - and I don't (only the cheap Healing Potions - and that DoT laughs at them). I have an SE with Acumen SA/Magic Haste Potion/BSPS and I can't even reach 8 inches to Battle Heal myself before that DoT kills me when CDL'ing (have tried, hehe).
The Poison DoT is easy, since so many Greater Antidotes drop in that area and you can put them on the skill bar. I can have it off before it does any damage to me - if I see the mob agro and/or am expecting it (i.e. I see the spell graphic on mob when he's casting). If I get ganked by a Flash and it casts a poison DoT or Nuke on me - I'm dead when CDL'ing.
You get more XP CDLing in Cemetary even at level 58 (I just went and tested the XP) and they are all 1 hit mobs from 52+ with CDL (i.e. once u get the skill, they are 1 hit-able) provided u aren't using a Demon Robe Set (I use[d] Karmian & Avadon for that). It's unnecessary risk, and VoS will net you more cash than you spend using Death Spike anyways...
If you have to gloom them, you will do better getting a putting on a Demon or Zubei Robe set and getting a little more damage out of your nukes so that you can just 2 shot them. You're wasting MP and money doing that.
If on Bartz, just shoot me a tell in game - I don't mind buffing/recharging peeps when I'm grinding in VoS. Sometimes I feel like I'm everyone's buffbot :p
