Mini map bugged since C5?

There was a cool feature of the mini map in C4 (if I were not mistaken) which was removed in C5. When you pressed up the party member button it would jump on map where the party member was and would show you his/her name as if your cursor was on top of it. This was a cool feature when multiple party members were on the same spot where all the dots on the map were stacked on each other.

Now in Interlude and back in C5 when you pressed Party Member it would jump to the next party member but it would not show his/her name as it used to be. Now it’s hard to see where every party member is because you can’t ID every dot on the map.

Not sure why this feature was removed.
if you mouse over on the dot, it should show the name.
yes but it didnt work like that before. When you pressed party member button it would show names even if you dont move your cursor on top of the dot. When multiple members are in the same place you can't make out who all are there cause when you move you mouse over you jsut see the name of the member who is on top.
I miss this feature too :/
You can now target party members directly, if it's near you see it's HP/MP bar, if not only name is visible. But when "far" party member comes "near", it won't refresh status in target window - you have to click something else then retarget "near" party member.
But the minimap feature rocked IMO.
Noticed this too! I miss that. I thought at first I always had to mouse over to see the names but you didn't, it sure was nice to just bounce between members to see who was where without moving the mouse.

No kidding. I used to spam the party button and see who was where.

Slight OCD?
Naw, just made it easy to see who was near you and who wasn't.
When you used click it fast and you could just ignore the group of dots, and see "that guy" who was sitting in town doing chores instead of being where he should have been 5 minutes before.
Now you have to click through (which usually means you go past that person) then click through again slowly to get that person, and onmouseover.
