In short, the amount of HP healed with immediate [part of a] heal without spiritshots is the power of heal + square root of your total MAtk.
With blessed spiritshots, there is no such good working formula found, but adding a bsps bonus (about 50 for ng bsps load, about 250 for A/B/C-g bsps load) to the formula above results in an estimate practically good enough.
Yeah, shots > MAtk that's for sure. Mostly the boost from MAtk/shots seems to depend on the heal level, but I haven't looked at that spreadsheet in a long time. I probably should try around some more. >.<
I went from a bottom C weap (stick of faith +0) to a SoM +3 and barely noticed the heal difference :( :( That is with emp 3 tho... didnt think to test it without emp.
I do notice the increase in trance land rate on high lvl mobs / sleep resistant mobs tho...
yeah, weapons add only very slightly to the heals, thats why my 58 SE is using an old dgrade branch of life, lol, if i want power and speed into her heals i go about using blessed shots and acumen pots. Emp also increases heals but just as insignificantly as a weapon does. You want the power, you need the shots ^^
Actually, the difference between a no grade and a C Grade weapon is noticable (no weapon = no shots will not be discussed since I'm sure that's not what Ellie meant).
I can get out the exact numbers, but the difference is closer to the vicinity of 200 when shots are involved. :)
The difference between C Grade (especially with emp) and A Grade is much smaller though... >.< Quite sad really.
IMHO a B Grade weapon for shot consumption, and nothing more. A mysterious sword might make a perfectly adequate replacement. :o
